I really love my neighborhood! I've lived here for 5 years and the community and camaraderie is warm, inviting and unique to the city. Most areas in the city people pass one another by without even a hello, but here people actually pay attention to one another.
I hope you enjoy my apartment and the city. Please let me know if I can do anything to help with your stay!
Access to all shared spaces. Wifi. I supply towels. If you need anything particular, just ask :o)
Interaction with Guests
As much as possible, especially if they need help. If they prefer less communication, that is ok as well.
The neighborhood is fun, safe, people are friendly, caring, and they say hello! In other areas of Manhattan not so much. It is also calmer and a nice break after long days of touring the city.
Yes, the apartment is very close to two major subway lines. Just a few minute walking. Everything is listed in my profile.

I had a really nice time with Wowa. The apartment was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Wowa was very welcoming and friendly. I was visiting my sister and brother in law and exploring New York so I didn't spend a huge amount of time at the apartment but the time that I did spend there was great! I would definitely visit again and recommend this place to anyone.
Wowa was a wonderful host! So welcoming, kind and extremely helpful. She was able to accommodate my schedule and host me fairly last minute. The apartment is extremely clean, organized and nicely decorated. The interior has changed a bit from what the profile show, but still exudes light, clean lines and a modern design. The bed is very comfortable and I slept soundly. Wowa was very respectful of my space and even though I was in the living room, I felt as if it was my own private room. The night I arrived, Wowa gave me several recommendations for places to go for dinner and drinks in Harlem. She prepared a booklet of all of the spots in the neighborhood, which was quite helpful. I wanted to experience a little bit of everything possible in an evening so I started off with drinks at 67 Orange Street (the cocktails are extremely well crafted), had dinner at The Cecil (enjoyed the food though the interior reminded me of a cafeteria and was extremely loud), for desert I decided on Vinateria which was a cute little spot, but I only ended up getting another cocktail. The people in the neighbourhood are quite lovely, very open and friendly. Before heading back to the apartment I went to a pastisserie close by and finally found the desert I was looking for. I purchased a passion fruit tart and a croissant for the next morning. Before my afternoon flight, Wowa recommended I go to Il Caffe Latte for breakfast, and take a walk around the different parks. It was a little cloudy, but lovely nonetheless.
I would recommend Wowa's apartment to anyone looking for comfy, clean and peaceful accommodations in a great neighborhood of Manhattan.
The reservation was canceled 33 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
