Here's the setup: our 10 year Anniversary and only our second vacation without our 2 wonderful boys and our awesome dog since we've been married.
Long story short, we used to live in Atlanta and decided for our anniversary we'd go back to Atlanta with a few days in the North Georgia Mountains. Based on the reviews and the look of Will and Faiths cabin, we booked and we are so thankful we did. It was just the escape we needed for the two of us.
The cabin was awesome and convenient to everything we wanted to do in the mountains. We hiked 4 trails, saw waterfalls, lakes, farms, covered bridges and more. We visited the Sautee country store, ate our anniversary dinner at Bernie's less than 3 minutes from the cabin and ended up canceling our reservation at the Hilton in downtown Atlanta because we loved staying at the cabin so much.
When we reached out to Will and Faith for advice on what to do in the area, they were quick to respond and it helped so much. We can't wait to come back with our boys in the near future... or maybe just the two of us again. If we could come back today, we would!
It was just what we needed, to celebrate our marriage and to get back to "us".
Stay at their cabin. You won't regret (email hidden): Go slow on the gravel roads. :)
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Very clean and spacious. Very peaceful. My boys had so much fun playing on huge porch and loved the big bathtub and jacuzzi. Cabin beds very comfortable. Close to Helen and great services in Sautee. Wonderful place, highly recommend.
The pictures of the cabin do not truly do it justice! What a wonderfully secluded and well kept home. We loved waking up to drink coffee while sitting on the porch swing and just listening to mother nature. The location was great being 10 minutes off of main roads, and still close enough for several hiking trails throughout the day at national parks!
The cottage was beautiful. It was perfect for a weekend getaway.
We loved staying in this beautiful home. The woodwork on the cabin was amazingly crafted. We felt like we were at home in the open and rustic decor. The movie and game room were a big hit that reaped much laughter. Most of our evenings were spent on the front porch swing enjoying the nature that surrounded us. We enjoyed our stay very much. Out hosts were super accommodating and it was a pleasure to work with them. Thanks again!
William and Faith's cabin was great and the pictures do not do it justice. It is located in a very quiet and off the beaten path area, but it is a short drive to Helen. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with toiletries that I need for my weekend visit to Clayton, GA. The internet and Direct TV was very nice to have in the evening. My two guest visited for one night and they had a blast with the air hockey table.
For me, the best part about the cabin was the very large bed in he master bedroom and the master shower. It was a very relaxing place to be and I would definitely love to return, especially if I can be there in the winter months.
