About this listing
Air Conditioning for those hot summer nights!
We're watching the euro get weaker by the moment and for those traveling based on U.S., Australian or Canadian dollars, this is a godsend. The euro is at an 11-year low against the dollar and is marked as one of the most dramatic periods in the history of currency trading. We’re seeing a real comeback by tourists whose greenbacks will get them a whole lot further on European soil.
Autumn has arrived in Paris the city of lights and is in full swing. The days are crisp and bright with cool evenings, perfect for strolling the banks of the Seine amongst all the activities. With business back to usual and University students preparing for finals there is electricity in the air and plenty of taste and style in the streets. Decorations adorn the shops and seasonal products fill the boutiques with articles for sale as the season is alive. The air carries a mixture of bright colors and comforting odors from the boulangeries with their fresh baked croissants & breads to warm and entice the senses while the smell of winter leaves in the Luxembourg Gardens in press you onward toward home where the retreat of a warm apartment can be a welcome comfort for memories to last a life time.

This just in from the UN World Tourism Organization: "Even in tough times, everybody wants to go to France, which remained the top tourism destination with 80 million yearly arrivals. Travel deals should be abundant throughout the year, and likely into 2016 as well. A competitive travel market is a boon for travelers, so take advantage of the weaker euro while you can! As Paris is the most visited city in the world the 3% downturn in travel might just make your visit a little less crowded and a little more economic and a lot more personal.
With over 15 years of experience in accommodating travelers to the best vacations of their lives, I look forward to making your upcoming trip comfortable and memorable.

Directly downstairs in the building is an organic grocer where you can find everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and eggs, bread and scones to a large selection of teas, juices, elixirs and home remedies.
Across the street is a Mediterranean restaurant (see my online guestbook) called Le Risale. With home made soups and salads, fresh pasta or vegetarian dishes to full hardy meals. Diagonally across the street is a late night grocer for that sweet tooth snack after midnight. Our block is lined with a wholesome baker, homeopath pharmacy, French Deli and Italian Deli. Walk a block further and you will find a fish market on Tues. & Fri, butcher, cheese store, wine store and chocolate shop. Not to mention the variety of French specialty shops with the old fashioned painted glass storefronts that have become historic treasures to be preserved.
On block away in front of the Luxembourg station is the Hotel Luco which serves a full breakfast, as well as Sunday brunch and meals all day long.
Conveniently located just one and one half blocks from the Luxembourg RER B Metro station, which serves as a direct link to/from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly Sud airports as well as Gare du Nord train station where the EuroStar arrives from London.
The bus lines 21 & 27 are just two blocks away with bus routes that cross St. Germain to Place St. Michel then connect to the islands and the Louvre on the other side before continuing up to the Opera Garnier and St. Lazar train station for departures to Normandy.
Guest book provided in the apartment for full function of the apartment.
