I personally recommend you to take KAL limousine 3A(6703)line bus at Incheon airport. It takes about an hour to Gangnam Novotel and it costs krw16,000 per person.
But in case of late arrival(after 6pm) pls take 6020 limousine and get off at Yeaksam subway station exit4 and it costs krw15,000 per person.

If you want to take a call ben taxi, I can arrange to pick you from the Incheon airport exit gate to my house directly and it costs USD65.

  • Another Airbnb Success! Great place, quiet, safe, clean, comfortable and all in a wonderful location. David is the perfect host who made sure our stay was as comfortable and easy as possible. He was there to meet us as soon as we stepped off the airport bus and even dropped us back off at the airport bus pick-up when our stay was over. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking and will recommend to any of my friends or family going to Seoul. Thanks for everything David!!

  • David gave us the great opportunity to stay at his location and it was definitely a pleasant experience. David has a heart of a saint and it was easy to communicate with him. His place was very convenient to the places we visited and the taxi service he recommended was easy for us to get to/from the airport. Would stay at David's anytime!

  • I stayed for the second time at David's place this year due to very good experience during my first stay and just can confirm, that this is the right place for everybody, who looks for a clean, well equiped, quiet, save and central place in Gangnam-area. And not to forget: With a great host.

    Thank you David!

  • All of the review that said David was a nice guy are all lies! Just kidding. Wow what a great guy! We spoke personally a few times in both English and in my broken Korean. He's a good guy and genuinely enjoys renting out his place and meeting all the tenants. You can tell by how well the unit was maintained. Oh and I had asked him if he had an HDMI cable so I could hookup my laptop to the TV. He had no idea what it was. A lot of people don't and I knew I was asking for a unique item. He apologized and left. A few minutes later he came up with one! He had looked all over his office and found one.

Now about the unit itself. It is as described. It is very clean and well done. When you walk in there is a twin bed. To the left is the bathroom and 2nd bedroom which I think has a full or queen bed. It will be a little cramped with 2 people (coming from LA) but was perfect for me. I came in November and it was pretty cold but the unit has a very good heating system. I even got hot.

Location is near the Cha Hospital which most Koreans know so it is easy to get back. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small biz so it's very quiet. More Korean style so no quaint restaurants or cafes in the nearby neighborhood. You have to walk a ways to see those or on the main road. There are at least 3 convenience stores near by incl 7-11 so that was nice. The local Korean restaurants are pretty good but some only have Korean menus so if you don't speak it it may be hard. Caffe Bene is just down the hill which is like Starbucks. The subway station is only a few minutes away and I found the walk to be pleasant.

A few note/tips. These are not complaints and are for those who don't read all the details like me. It's smaller than it looks in the pictures but as stated it's just over 300 sq ft. A good size but not what my mind had expected. There is no elevator so if anyone needs assistance in your group be aware of that. Only 12 or so steps but just a note. The blinds don't block out all of the sunlight so if you sleep in consider bringing eye shades. Almost all of the tv channels are in Korean except the news. CNN is ch 540 and BBC is 1up or down.. I hooked up my laptop to the tv so I could watch my movies. This isn't a hotel so remember your power adapters and maybe a strip. I travel a lot for work so I had a lot of them. An umbrella would be a good idea too.

Overall excellent. Will definitely stay there again.

  • We stayed in David's Flat for 7 days and would certainly return to the apartment again during our next visit. The flat was cosy, tastefully decorated, with all the necessary appliances for a very comfortable stay.
David is also an excellent host who went out of his way to help us source for the connector to our water filter.
