Tracy was a wonderful host, Greeting me at the door and giving me the tour of the space. It is as she puts it a converted shop/store front space that sets right on a main road. A nice short walk to some local bars and restaurants. Its a bit more of a walk I'd say about 10-15 mins to the Blue line which will take you right downtown to the loop for only $1.75. The space is set up like a hostel with two nice shared bathrooms and a common area. The people staying with her for extended periods were in rooms, I crashed on a bed with a make shift curtain closings out in the front room. I'd say if you get a room its a great deal, if you're out in the common space, not much more than a place to crash for the night. Again Tracy was a wonderful host and it was a pleasure meeting her. The FREE parking is what sold me because I had a rental car. Its street parking, and there are a lot of tow zones so you'll have to be careful, but it is possible.
It was really lovely place to stay in Chicago:) in nice neighbourhood, close to Downtown and subway lines. Tracy was amazing, so warm, friendly person, so helpful that make you feel like real home. It was a pleasure to be there and getting rest after whole days of walking and enjoying the city, I really recomand!:)
We have a great time staying at Tracy's in Chicago. Tracy is pretty sweet. She checked on us to make sure we're okay. The place is good, right next to a bus station. Besides, Josue makes good drinks.:) Thank you guys for hosting.
Tracy is very nice and welcoming. The apartment is clean and the location is excellent.
We've been at Tracy's place for the Pitchfork Festival. Tracy is very kind and helpful. Her appartement was very well located for the festival, and with many buses to go downtown. The place is really clean. Despite the room in the entrance, we enjoyed it a lot!
Tracy was such a great hostess! The room was beautiful and we had everything we needed without even having to ask. I would definitely stay with her again.
Tracy is a wonderful and hospitable person! Thank you for your hospitality and we are sorry for the noise..
We stayed 3 nights in the front room of Tracy's apartment when we came to Chicago. The room is very nice, the service was top notch, but it was a bit noisy at night and in the morning.
Tracy and co were overly considerate and great guides to the city. I also got to sleep in a converted storefront — how cool is that? I felt the ghost of a cash register pass over me.
Super cute place. Tracy was a sweetheart. I had head shots done against the pink wallpaper. It turned out amazing. Fun, eclectic neighborhood and place. I'll be back!
