The Space

Large, KING size bed in a great studio with its basic needs. It has been upgraded.

The bed is a large king bed which can sleep two comfortably. TV, cable and internet is included. The kitchenette includes all cooking utensils, Pots/Pans/Toaster/Coffee Maker/2 burner stove/Dishes/Microwave, and Refrigerator, for those who want to relax with a meal in their unit.
The great upgrades include a stove top (in counter) and large fridge.

Also on the property is a large self-service laundromat, Blue Hawaii Internet café (internet work stations, fax, scan, printing), convenience store, surf rental shop, activity desk. Parking is available in building for $20/day. The property is located just 1 short block from the world's most famous beach, where you can take in surfing, stand-up paddling, canoe surfing, body boarding, snorkel, catamaran rides or just sun bath. This is where everyone wants to be!

Guest Access

My office is downstairs, Exit Realty office, so can show you to room anytime from 9am to 5pm. If checking late, I will have key for you in lockbox, located in lobby area. I have 5 boxes with my picture, numbered 1-5.

I enjoy sharing this beautiful island hiking/shopping/sight seeing info to anyone interested.
Also, very happy to answer any questions, just stop by my office downstairs, call or txt.

The Neighborhood

This building is perfectly located in Waikiki, just a block from wide, sandy beach area, close to major hotels- Hyatt, Waikiki Resort and Pacific Beach, and shopping. Many local/International eateries just outside building.
24 hour convenience store downstairs, and larger Super Market 4 stop lights away.

Getting around

iSHUTTLE- - reserve online, or request at arrival gate- round trip tickets for as low as $26.
Honolulu Airport Shuttle only $8.99 One Way (2 people minimum).
PUBLIC BUS (no large bags)- $2.50 take #19 ro #20, to Waikiki- Kuhio AVe. reads WAIKIKI BEACH. Departs from 2nd level, from departures. This leaves every 20min, and takes 1hr.
TAXI- One way- $45.
I provide Bus Guide, in rooms, for guests, and
I do recommend renting a car, to best explore Oahu's North Shore, Kailua Beach and/or shopping Outlets- Enterprise and Alamo car rentals are 1 block away.

Other Things to Note

I offer all guests Beach toys, such as Boogie Boards, Fins, Snorkeling equipment, Mats, Beach chairs and Tennis equipment- all at no charge!
Also, complimentary coffee, tea and macadamia nuts will be waiting in rooms at check in.

  • Great host, great place, great location. Keoki was very helpful from check in to checkout. The place was well kept from the moment we walked in the door. The beach was just a short 3 min walk away, but not before passing an nice street full of restaraunts, convenient stores, and bars. The ideal location in the heart of Waikiki made this stay very pleasing.

  • Keoki was extremely easy to communicate with. Checking in was no problem and the location was extremely convenient. The room was well kept and parking was directly under the building (you do have to pay though). We used the room mainly as a place to sleep, so it met all of our needs. Neighbors were friendly and you do have to walk past other "porches" to get to the room, which was not an issue for us. Noise was not an issue because the room was not on Kuhio, but on the back side of the building. The "Duke" statue was only a 3 minute walk from the elevator.

    Definitely recommend for anyone just looking for a room in Waikiki.

  • I got exactly what I expected, a nice, centrally located, economical studio apartment.. Keoki was always helpful and available.; he even allowed me to use some of the snorkel gear they have on stock one day...very nice. I would definitely rent from Keoki again. No complaints whatsoever

  • I really enjoyed my stay there. The location of the studio is prime for any and all downtown activities. I live here but too far from downtown so it was a good getaway. Especially since the beach is a block away. I would definitely stay there again. No noise from the neighbors or anything. Convenient shops located all around. Thanks for having me.

  • This was my first trip to Waikiki, so finding an apartment close to the beach and reasonably priced was ideal. While all the amenities as posted were there, there were a few details that I could have done without:
    - neighbourhood - older part of town where there are lots of homeless and street walkers. While they were harmless, not knowing who you'd run into when you turned the corner made for anxious walks home late at night.
    - cleanliness - this apartment has definately been lived in!

    Aside from this I enjoyed my trip to Oahu and would recommend AirBnb again.

  • The location was good withh access to shops and beach a couple blocks away. The differed maintenance and mising items left me frustrated.
