  • The hosts were very helpful and inviting. They accommodated us by even offering to pick us up from the bus station and take us to get groceries. If you are seeking to not have any contact with people, this is not the place for you.

  • We enjoyed the post and beam house features, the breakfasts, the welcoming hosts, the setting, the common interests, the quiet.
Sharon and Rick's Airbnb home is a pleasant place to stay -with Plum Island nearby and a quieter coastal experience. We would visit again!

  • Sharon and Rick made me feel right at home just as I arrived!
Sitting by the fire, blanket, glass of wine and catching up on tv shows: heaven.
They have a lovely home, very comfortable bed, the location is close to plenty of things to see and they are just such nice people.

  • Awesome experience! We were going to a wedding and stayed at Sharon and Rick's lovely home. The house is clean and cute, can't be more comfortable. Sharon and Rick are super nice and the breakfast was so good. I will definitely stay at their place again next time I go to MA! We had a wonderful weekend!!

  • We had a very enjoyable stay with Sharon and Rick in their lovely home, which is as shown in the photo, in a quiet neighborhood with other nice homes. They were very friendly and accommodating hosts. They provided a great room and private bath and we felt very at home there. Breakfast was great, too. I highly recommend this B & B.

  • Rick and Sharon have a beautiful home. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is tasty! Rick and Sharon can point out attractive places to visit and dine in northeastern Massachusetts. The landscape surrounding the home is a peaceful retreat from the busier coastal towns along Route 1A. There are farms and horse pastures in the Rowley area.

  • My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip up to MA to enjoy the ocean and fall leaves. Sharon and Rick were so nice and easy to talk to. Their house was super cozy and our bed was so comfortable. In the morning, we had apple pancakes with maple syrup from New Hampshire, and fresh apple cider. After breakfast, we took a trip out to Plum Island, and enjoyed watching the beautiful waves and birds. We had a seafood lunch and got back on our way home. It was a short trip but we made wonderful memories and we are thankful that Sharon and Rick made our stay such a beautiful experience.

  • Nice home. Cabin feel with wood paneling, beams, posts, windows and decks all around bring the outdoors in.
Room is good size, comfortable, and quiet. Small loft above bed is a neat feature. Bathroom is adjacent and huge. Did not make use of laundry machine but iron was provided.
Hosts messaged ahead to ask about our meal interests and diet restrictions. Hosts really friendly and accomodating and liked to share experiences and ideas about sights, shopping' and eating. They were accomodating on our comings and goings.

  • We mostly saw Rick during our stay, and briefly spoke with Sharon. They were great hosts who were easy to talk to. It was neat to see Rick's amazing photography, and Sharon would talk about what it's like to live in New England. It was not too far from Rockport and Salem. Because of our budget, the room was a great value. Rick saw to it that we had a delicious breakfast before leaving for our trip home. Definitely would stay here again!

  • We had a great visit- everything was clean and comfortable. Cozy bed, very neat shower, great coffee, generous breakfast-overall a very peaceful experience. Rick and Sharon are super nice, down to earth people. We had a crazy weekend schedule, and they made it easy to come and go while still making us feel welcome but not in their way. It was a lovely experience, and we will definitely be looking Sharon and Rick up again should we ever find ourselves back in the Newburyport area.
