Great place to stay! Elle is very friendly and had ready maps, guides and water for us upon our early arrival. The room is as described in the website, very well located nearby Bergen st and Atlantic Ave subway stations. No issues returning late at night from Manhattan. Area has plenty of cafes, restaurants and a big park to explore.
She was kind enough to organise our transport back to JFK with a private driver.
Would definitely stay here again.
Elle was on holiday when we arrived, but her roommate Caitlyn was there to greet us. The house is very cool and out of the ordinary, clean and comfortable and spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we could not lock our bedroom door from the outside when we left for the day. Otherwise it's a great place! Elle arrived the day we left and was very accommodating to our schedule and extended our check out time which we really appreciated. She was also really friendly and easy to talk with. Thanks for a great stay, we'd love to come back some day! :)
Elle was unable to be there during our stay, due to a business trip, but organised for her housemate to look after us during our stay. She was in contact with us before we arrived, and was flexible when our original flights were cancelled. She met us when we arrived, showed us around and gave us advice about the local area and how to get into Manhattan. Elle had clearly gone to a lot of effort to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, there were fluffy towels provided and lots of leaflets about things to do in New York. The house was just as described on the website and was like a home away from home. It was very quiet at night time. Having a fridge in the room and air conditioning was a nice surprise, as it was very hot the week that we stayed. We loved the local area. It was quirky and there was lots of international restaurants. It was close to local amenities and the subway into Manhattan. We enjoyed being so close to Prospect Park, (and whilst we did not use them due to a knee injury) it was fantastic to have Elle's bikes available to use. The cat, Amigo, is very friendly but didn't come upstairs to our bedroom or bathroom. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other people.
Liz apartment is exactly what was described. Clean rooms with amenities close by. Liz was a very hospitable host and she prepared fresh sheets, many bottles of water for us to hydrate, bathroom toiletries and maps around the area. Overall a good experience and would gladly recommend everyone to stay at Liz's apartment.
Elle is a really nice person, she is worried about her guests: she have bottles of water in the room, maps and she give us the best recomendations.
Her home is comfortable and very beautifull. You can cook in the kitchen. The location is perfect, the subway is near (3 blocks).
The room is big and has a refrigerator, kettler, hair dryer, iron. It is very private.
The bathroom is clean and it has shampoo, soap and toilets.
The neighborhood is safe and beautifull.
Definitely I will recomend to any people that want to visit Manhattan and Brooklyn. The best experience EVER!!
Really thank you Elle!!!!
We had a great experience staying at Liz's place. The room was quiet, clean, and had a very home-like feel. I did not realize quite how spacious it was until we arrived! Liz's neighborhood couldn't have been more charming, and Liz was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Thanks so much!
Bon voyage !
