About this listing
In a very quiet street of 16 district where you'll find nice tradespeople, near Trocadéro (Eiffel Tower) and "Bois de Boulogne". Lot of bus and train around to coming and going. It is the perfect place for a couple.
I will be glad to receive you in this welcoming and luminous nest under a beautiful Haussman building's roof (fifth floor without elevator, I warn the less athletic ones ! ).
The studio is in west of Paris at ten minutes away from Eiffel Tower.
"Rue de Siam" is a very calm area where you will sleep like a baby.
It is ideal for couple, with one big bed for two, a little shower, bathroom and a little kitchen.
I will provide you a little guide of nice play around (good and cheap restaurant, clubs, nice walking place).
For you first day, I will provide you basics for your breakfast.
I provide towels too.
You will have the whole studio for yourself exclusively. You will have a key and internet access.
For the kitchen, you have several ustensils (electric stove, rapier, bowl, oven, fridge), the necessary to make coffee or tea.
You will have subwoofer to listen music too (not too loud please :) )
Interaction with Guests
Me or someone of my family will give you the keys and help you to settle. We live in the same building at the 2nd floor if you need anything.
I like different cultures and if you want to meet one day around a coffee or a beer, I will be glad to meet you.
In front of the building you will find nice butcher and bakery. There are plenty of nice restaurant at dirent prices around (it will be mentionned in the guide) and you will find supermarket too (Casino, Franprix, Naturalia).
For those who need to wash their clothes, there is a laundromat few metres away. For a nice walk, you have the "Bois de Boulogne" at 1 kilometre (during summer you can rent a small boat too).
Rue de Siam is also close to "Rue de Passy" where you'll find a lot of luxuary shopping.
About transport, the area is perfect. It is close to several bus, RER and métro(train) stations and you can also rent bikes called "Velib" in the street.
Other Things to Note

The host canceled this reservation the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I would like to thank Philippe for his kind and warm gesture by welcoming us in person as we arrived in the morning.
He made us feel very comfortable and even made offered us coffee as we spoke to him about our stay. He was helpful in sharing the details of the near by places of interests that could be visited, places around for food and groceries.
-> It was well connected to the Metro/RER and very much in the center of the city, though we felt the place was very calm and quite as required for the stay.
-> All details of the apartment including the internet, the metro/RER lines, restaurants and other information was very nicely typed and kept.
-> Kitchen was fully functional along with available items ready to be used.
The place was as it is mentioned and would surely visit again.
Philippe was very welcoming and flexible. He carried my bag up the stairs, and gave me great advice about cafes to work in, restaurants to eat at, supermarkets and transport. The apartment was as it seems in the listing – great for me as I was travelling alone and working. Philippe was great at communicating before and during my stay.
Superou nossa expectativas, recomendo.
My parents stayed with Philippe for two days beginning of May and they were very happy with the apartment. They arrived at the place after battling with the Paris metro for 2 hours and a huge downpour. Philippe's father let them in and made them very welcome. They had a wonderful lunch at a nearby restaurant led by Philippe's friend. They felt like coming home.
The place is perfect for a short stay. It was clean and had everything you need (except a hair dryer :) ) It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, but still very close to Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower. I loved the neighbourhood as there were no tourists in sight :) I highly recommend the place!
