Alessandra's house is beautiful, perfect for large groups. We were a group of five singles and we all had ample private sleeping space, with four bathrooms with showers! The house is just a 5-minute walk into town but is far enough out to be quiet and peaceful. It's also well situated for some magnificent hiking. Really a wonderful place to stay, we hope to go back next year! The photos on the website don't do it justice!
We stayed in Alessandra’s house for 4 nights for a family get-together. Her house was very spacious for six adults. There were plenty of dishes and a very large dining table that made mealtime very comfortable. Although we did not have time to utilize it, there were books available and some games and puzzles. The house was spotless clean and the beds just right. The living room and one of the bedrooms had an unbeatable view onto the mountains. The hot tub and the electric grill in the backyard were a welcomed bonus. Alessandra welcomed us when we arrived and made sure that we knew how to reach her in case we needed anything. We had a little issue with the WiFi when we arrived but our host handled the situation well and all was resolved. The house is located near the river with easy access to hiking trails. The location is close enough for a pleasant walk to town, but far enough away from the town center for peace and quiet. I can recommend Alessandra’s place without any hesitation.
Alessandra's house was perfect and in the best location for us. We were there for jazz fest and it was just a short walk to the festival as well as in to town. The house was clean with tons of room and she left detailed notes about nuances around the house that were very helpful. She was responsive when I texted her with questions. Also the bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. I could hardly wait to go to sleep every night! I would recommend this house and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
We had a wonderful stay in Telluride, even extended our stay because it was so great. The view alone is reason to stay in this house! The photos in the listing don't do it justice -- the house is spacious and so comfortable, the upstairs light-filled, the downstairs cozy. Tons of books to read, lots of games to play. Everything you need for cooking and entertaining. The linens and towels were really high quality, which is important to me. And Alessandra was a model host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and accessible for questions. We will definitely return!
My friends and I have made Telluride Bluegrass an annual pilgrimage for years and Alessandra's house has been our hands-down favorite. She was very gracious in accommodating some last minute changes to my schedule and was responsive and easy to reach via email. Thank you!
The home was beautiful, large, and perfect for our stay. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The living room has a very good set up for conversations, and the sleeping arrangements (especially the master bedroom!) were lovely. Since we had a week-long stay, it was especially helpful to have washers and dryers available. Alessandra was also very good about communication, before and during the trip. Thank you Alessandra!
The home on Shadow Lane in Telluride felt like "home" to us. The amenities including the kitchen stove were beyond our expectations and the master bedroom, huge bathroom and laundry allowed us to relax and stay clean.... the lavender soap readily available in each bathroom and kitchen was a nice touch ... I use it at home ... This place was so special... we hope to share the vibe again next year ... could use instructions on tv... but no tv made the treasured time all about family and competition playing "Go"... We found the home hard to leave ... particularly when we could hear the jazz coming from the park. We have pictures of the cat as part of our cherished photos. We really appreciated the vibe in the house and wanted to leave it the way we found it... as a big "Thank you" instead of leaving a note.
Thank you for extending your hospitality.
About the Host, Alessandra
I have lived in Telluride for 18 years now, and love every minute of it. Our house is available most summers, but we rarely know until the spring before. My favorite things to do are hike, run, camp, climb peaks, play with my kids and my animals, work in the garden, well, I have a lot of favorites! It's a busy life!
