  • There are not enough words to describe the experience that Erin and James provided for my girlfriend and I during our stay in Bloomington. I came to Bloomington because it was a good meeting point for my girlfriend and I to spend some time together. I left having met two extremely selfless and friendly people in Erin and James which made for a great airbnb experience. From the moment we walked in the door, we were nothing but impressed at the hospitality that they and their home provided.

The place is VERY clean which is great. But what they provide for their guests is what impressed me the most. Erin asked ahead of time what we like to eat for breakfast and when we got there, everything we had asked for was waiting for us in tupperware nicely arranged in the mini fridge provided in our bedroom. The fruit was even cut up!

They provided plenty of linens and towels for us and even offered extras if we needed them. The shower was fantastic and they also have a nice collection of shampoos, conditioners, and soaps just in case you forgot yours. The bed was very comfortable and there is TV ready to go with netflix and Hulu to watch movies if you choose.

They have a dog Sienna, who is extremely friendly and fun to be around. Their cat is well behaved and will not disturb you.

We were able to have plenty of good conversations with Erin and James. They are both very personable and love living in Bloomington. They both work at Indiana University. This made for some great personal recommendations of places to eat and things to do on campus, all of which we enjoyed. Their place is a 10 minute drive from campus.

They provided us with plenty of maps, magazines of places to eat, and magazines on different parks in the area. There is no shortage of things to do in this area.

Whether you are in a similar situation as mine where are you just looking for somewhere new to visit, or you are visiting someone at the University, I wholeheartedly recommend staying with Erin and James. If I ever make my way back to Bloomington, I would not think twice about where I would choose to stay.

  • Erin was great. She was willing to take us even though we weren't able to make our plans until the day we arrived. Erin waited up for us since we arrived so late, after 11pm. The house was beautiful, supper clean. The room had a mini fridge which really improved our stay since we needed a place to store our lunch stuff. She let us use the washer and dryer and gave us washing soap. We would be happy to stay again. Thanks Erin for all you did to make the place beautiful and ready for us.

  • Erin and James were great hosts. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Erin asked and got all the breakfast items for me prior to my arrival. The house is very clean and so is my room. The pets are extremely friendly. It was my first time staying at someone's house and I was a bit apprehensive and not sure what to expect. It turned out to be a great experience. I will definitely stay with them again. Thank you, Erin and James for sharing your home.

  • Erin and Jame's home exudes clean, calm, warmth and caring. Our experience with them was Airbnb at it's best. And the amazing thing about this is they were gone for the weekend, but Erin is such a great communicator, we felt well looked after. The our room and guest bath were very clean, the bedding and towels top grade and beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I slept as peacefully as I do in my own home, and that is rare. There was even a small refrigerator and TV/VCR included! Erin asked ahead of time what we would want available for breakfast, and that was a first for us. And yes, their pets are adorable AND well mannered! They won us over. We will definitely be requesting to stay here the next time we're in Bloomington!

  • Erin and James, as well as pets, were very welcoming. I was traveling to the area for an interview and they were accommodating for all my needs. They provided some small continental breakfast items, treated me as a friend in their own home - allowing access to specific yet simple needs, like an iron. Erin even helped me to know the local area and where some great food would be found. Wish I could have stayed longer!
