This stay was a great deal. Our room was big enough for the two of us, and included a little kitchenette. There's a lot of little towns and a couple of cities in a 30 minute radius, and we travelled to the beach everyday. The area is very safe and very rural, which we liked. Our hosts were friendly and approachable, and were very respectful of our space.
Very nice and open-minded, we enjoyed being there! A charming room with a splendid view in the garden. We were welcomed with a good bottle of wine and Jean-Francois even shared fresh bread and coffee with us. Thanks a lot! The weather was not that good, but we had wonderful time anyway and are already looking forward for our next stay.
We've stayed with Hanne and Jean-Francois for 4 nights during our trip to the region end of October. We enjoyed their comfortable and nicely decorated room which had everything we need. The cherry on the cake was the view to the garden with a river running next to it. The room is situated quite on the ground floor and is not directly connected to the main living space. So it provides as well a lot of privacy.
Mon quatrième séjour s’est bien passé. Même, quand il pleut toute la journée, le studio est très confortable. La connection wifi est très bonne et Mimi, le petit chien, est adorable. J’espère revenir encore souvent.
Great little cosy room! We felt at home and had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and gave us plenty of tips of what to do in the area. The Sunday markets just down the road were awesome and had amazing fresh food. Cute little dog which loves the attention! Lol. Def recommend. Thanks for having us!
Charming room in a magical garden setting. Like a dream. Hanne & Jean-François are gracious, friendly, and interesting hosts. Mimi the dog is adorable. We were very busy and had only a few minutes to visit with them this time. I will certainly return to the village and am happy to have three new friends there. Mimi cried when we were leaving!
This was a lovely place to stay. It is a good base to explore Haut Languedoc having always stayed previously in Narbonne. Our hosts Hanne and Jean-Francois were very hospitable, and gave us good advice on places to visit, they invited us for drinks and nibbles which we gratefully accepted. Thank you both.
We are a Danish/French couple who, after 30 years in Denmark, have chosen to settle in the South of France. Before that, we travelled a great deal and lived in a.o. Marocco, England, France, Kenya, Comore Islands (in the Indian Ocean) - and crossed Africa from East to West in a 2CV.
Now retired we have decided to settle down quietly in the village St. Chinian in Lanquedoc, but so many interesting things to do and see that 'quiet' rarely arises: walking in beautiful landscapes, tennis, choir, painting, cultural associations etc.
We also travel a little, preferabely to Spain and Italy and dream of a trip to St. Petersburg. We like good food and wine and love opera, which is scarce around here ...
