NEW :Wi-Fi and Walking in Central Corfu
I have flats to rent just restructured in a traditional house, at Corfù (Kerkyra), green and full of flowers island, located in the historical centre of one of the hundred most beautiful village of Greece: Sinarades. The area is also central for walking in the nature and in small villages.
We speak fluently English, German, French, Italian and a little Spanish.
In the house there are 3 flats to rent(2x4people, 1x2people)
Flat 1 and 2 (for 4 people each):
• Two double rooms with ceiling fan. One of the rooms has near the window a “drawing area” with a table and four comfortable sitting places.
• Bathroom with shower and hot water
• Kitchen fully equipped with refrigerator and full equipment for cooking
• Private courtyard (10 sqm) with table and 4 seats.
On demand we send you a full list of airlines (low-cost and not) that fly to Corfu.
To our guests we deliver a full list of facilities in and around Sinarades and how to get them (beaches, restaurants, amusements…) and for people who like walking we give information for a lot of walks in central Corfu (Sinarades area).
Sinarades has totally maintained its traditions, safeguarding its charm as regards its natural environment, too. A Greek corner untouched by tourist groups where it is still possible to live at old time rhythms, bathed in natural sounds. Not a village transformed into a tourist-commercial centre. A place of peace and relax, but you have some nice Greek bars and tabernas (restaurants) where a beer costs 1,5/2,5 €, a Greek salad 6/7€ and a normal meal 12/15€including drink , an internet cafè, a motorbike rent point where you can rent a motorbike for 2 from 85€ per week or a quad for 2 from 190€ per week. Quad is a very popular way for tourists for moving around the island. Generally speaking prices are a lot lower than in most Europe.
For people that like hiking, beautiful pathways offer unique experiences with astonishing panoramic views. We have also a guide-book for walks in central Corfu (Sinarades area) easy to medium walks.
In Sinarades there are food shops , a pharmacy and an ambulatory where they understand English and Italian, a public phone and a bus stop to the beach or to Corfù town. At Corfù island you do not have the Melteni wind and the climate in summer is dry.
Sinarades is located 200 meter high ; a little wind blows at sunset and at night it is a little cooler and dry. Sinarades is 300 metres in a bee line from the sea but by road is 2.5 km away. You can easily walk to the beach and come back by bus (to avoid the slope!). The beach is called Agios Gordis and it is 3/4 km long and mostly sandy. The first 400 meters have bars , restaurants and beach-umbrella but further it is completely free and wild. At Agios Gordis beach some bars have a swimming pool free for guests.
5/8/10 km from the village you can find other beaches and small bays with crystal-clear waters.
Corfù town (40.000 inhabitants) and the airport are 12 km away; here you can find elegant shops open at night, restaurants , pubs ,dancing clubs ,concert halls and nightlife, almost in an “old Venice ambience”.
At 6 km from our village you also have the 18 hole Corfù Golf Club and a horse riding club.

We had a very nice vacation in a small, friendly village, in a basic, cosy apartment.
We were 2 weeks on Corfu and saw a big part of the beautiful island.
We had a good time on this beautiful island. Peoples, nature and climate of this place give us the desire to get back for the next holidays.
An exceptionally warm welcome from wonderful hosts, we loved our week in Sinarades. Agios gordios beach is a little far to walk with a small child (we visited with our four year old daughter) so we hired a car and explored the island - Sinarades is perfectly positioned to go to Paleokatritsa, the beach at Agios gordios and lots of little wild coves such as Rovinia beach near Liapades. The wildflowers were beautiful and Sinarades was the only town on the whole island where we felt we were in the midst of the real Corfu - lots of locals on streetcorners, a good taverna with very friendly owners and we even went to a local fiesta. The apartment is very clean and charming with plenty of hot water and a well equipped kitchen. Silvy and Evasio are lovely people and clearly passionate about the island, they helped us find some hidden gems and we would love to come back again.
Thank you Silvy,
We had a wonderful stay in your apartment. The apartment was quiet and off the 'tourist trail'. Sinarades is a pretty little town, full of local life and good food to be had in the tavernas. Easy access to beaches and exploring the island. We were sorry not to meet you, but Lena looked after us very well! Your directions from the airport were perfect! Thank you for teabags, milk, etc. We will return!!

Silvana and Evasio are lovely and helpful hosts. They know a lot about Corfu Island and the places are worth of visiting. The house is in picturesque area with great views of a villiage and the backyard full of flowers. The apartment is cosy, clean and very stylish and has everything you need. We also really enjoyed sitting outside, eating and chatting. Sinarades is a lovely villiage where you can feel the real atmosphere of Greece. Highly recommended.

I am an Italian retired chemistry teacher. I live with my husband near Milan and we like travelling as ”do by yourself” tourists through all the world.
Next destination will be India. We like the sea and as soon as we can we move to Corfù where we have an historical house wich, partially, we can share with others. Our guests are independent and can decide to pass their time in a completely independent way or chatting, relaxing with us. I like eating fish either raw or cooked, I love fruits and I am valetudinarian, but I do sins of gluttony with the plain chocolate. I like playing cards with friends; I am learning bridge. We speak fluently English, German, Italian,French and a little Spanish.
My motto is “live and let live”
