It is Provence at his best , dominating a preserved valley of Bandol (URL HIDDEN) is secluded but still not isolated and 5 minutes from the motorway leading to Aix, Marseille, Lyon and Nice but you do not see or hear the motorway
The new Mucem (Musee des cultures de l'Europe et de la Mediterrannee) in Marseille, European Capital of Culture 2013 ,is a must, Friday night , diner or watching a film on the terraces of fort St Jean are an amazing experience
La Cadiere d'Azur, le Castelet our villages and and our beach of Les Lecques are quiet and warm.The calanques of Cassis nearby are protected and preserved.
Aix en Provence is 40 minutes away, Marseille 35 minutes, La Cote d Azur is two hours away, we access the motorway in a few minutes form the house, therefore it is easy to explore the whole of Provence including Arles and La Camargue, Nimes , Avigon etc
In our house you will find plenty of Arts Books and guides for inspiring you.
In June July August and September the house is rented from Saturday to Saturday for the price of 200 pounds per week plus cleaning

Very quiet and friendly, it is a preserved wine valley and people have been farming there for ages. Almost an hectare of terraces makes it very secluded .
The train goes to Saint Cyr Les Lecques,9 minutes away which connect to fast trains and airport in Marseille

YOU WILL FIND A NESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINES ,TAKES NESPRESSO COMPATIBLE
No smoking outside, no barbecue, please be very careful with risk of fire. Our house is beautiful but old and rustic.
The electric plaques in the kitchen are switched on by putting you finger and the sign showing a key then on the" i". there are notices in the drawer.
The plumber is Mr Nieoullon (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).WE sometimes get bad smells from the sceptic tank and he is to be called
in case of problem.

The washing machine is in the shed a the back, there are lines for the laundry nearby.
Our doctor is Dr Dufour in La Cadiere.
Our neigbours the Coifffard, the yellow house across the electric line,Odile and Michel are friends who have rented the house for many years and loved the area so much that they decided to settle there. down the Chemin des Arnauds, Genevieve (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) is our friend and knows a lot in case of emergency.
Mme Blanc sells wonderful vegetables, jam and herbs, take a right down Carraire des Moines Chemin du Peras back to St Cyr, next crossing, on the left , a small hamlet and a sign "legumes a vendre". There is a market at St Cyr on Sunday mornings, La Cadiere has a butcher and nice shops, Le Castellet is more touristy bur very pretty and lovely shops, For swimming in the sea, Les Lecques ou La Calanque de Port d Alon,route de Bandol. I recommend Le bistrot de Jeff in la Cadiere, We also go to the Pizzeria aux etoiles at les Lecques, by the sea.Go early, it is popular.You can also take away there delicious pizzas French fries sprinkled with thyme.
In route de St Come, take chemin des Arnauds, then a right , there the Moulin de St Come wich sells olive oil from the area and nice products.
For the wine , we take a left in Chemin de St Come going to La Cadiere and buy the local wine a the cooperative La Cadierenne.

the shower in green bathroom is started by pulling the top of the tap strongly upwards,
in white front bathroom, cold and hot water are inversed
In green tile bathroom to switch to shower mode, pull ring under bath tap when water is on
Fridge is tired , will be changed in June, make sure the door closes carefull
Keep swimming pool gate close at all times, key should behind door of cupboard right of logfire in dining room
