Our house is easy to reach by car or the urbain train. With the Metro, it only takes about 30 minutes to arrive at the center of Munich, Marienplatz. Our large room with a connected computer, coffee table, hanging chair and a large balcony to the countryside is ideal for longer stays.People who want get to know Munich, and those who attend a fair are specially welcome.
The bathroom is to be shared with two young people who are usually very nice. Because of their school, it may be a bit noisy during the week at about 7 clock in the morning.
According to prior agreement the kitchen can also be used. If you want to use the garde- go for it! Nearby is a lake to swim an places to play football or other games.
I can serve a breakfast - at an extra charge - too.
We wish for friendly and relaxed guests who appreciate the family atmosphere. Conversely, we know all the tourist highlights in and around Munich.
We speak English and Spanish fluently and with French and Italian we get along well. Therefore, we look forward to guests from all around the world.
Attention allergy sufferers: Two black, french male cats stray through the house.
Our village - Heimstetten - offers a quarry pond and many good restaurants: bavarian, italian, indian and international. Since the fair and the airport are very close, there are also many hotels and guesthouses. A small pedestrian zone offers good shopping options. Coffee bars and restaurants invite you to linger.
The best, however, is the Metro and the nearby motorway ring that provides a fast connection to the city and the mountains.
You can reach the S-Bahn - which drives every 20 Minutes - easily by bus or by foot. In and around Heimstetten are also some seas, if you want to visit them we could borrow you bikes. (So don't forget to pack your swimming stuff!) Near our house is also a place to play soccer, basketball, table tennis and much more. We can also borrow you balls, if you want to. Everything we can borrow you is for free.

I stayed 3 weeks at Ingrid's house and it was a really good time there. Ingrid and her family are very friendly and easygoing people, always there to help you if you need to visit anything or to go anywhere !
I strongly recomend to stay at Ingrid's House, you will have a really good stay !
it was really lovely room.only 20 minutes directly by bus to the Messe.Ingrid was super nice and thoughtful took care of me very well.i really appreciated that much since there was really tough work during my staying in (website hidden) really felt good to take a relaxing beth after work.there was a beautiful lake.really good experience to walk along the path beneath it.
We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's in Heimstetten. Her and her family were very accommodating. It was a lovely neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of Munich, especially since we were there during Oktoberfest.
It was within 1/2 hour of the Munich main station using the S-Bahn, which ran every 20 minutes. From there, it was an easy connection to other trains, etc.
We would not hesitate to stay with her again. Everything was great!

Very nice room with lovely balcony, indeed! We had a wonderful stay. The room was spaceous and was equiped with internet and TV. Ingrid and her family were very friendly. Ingrid was very helpful in providing us tips and information before and during our trip in Munich. A lovely neighbourhood to stay in and easier to get to than I had thought.
It was an amazing experience staying at Ingrid's place. She is a superb host, and the the place is really beautiful.
The best part is that you get to see the breathtaking countryside of a typical German area, with just a 20 minute travel through metro from the city center.
She was a great help telling us about the areas and whereabouts of the city.
Overall, I would say that it was worth visiting Munchen, and I would prefer to stay at her place only, if got a chance to visit Munich again.
Our staying was amazing. The room was really cosy, wide and bright. It had a wide window and a very nice balcony from which we were able to enjoy the green view. The surroundings were very beautiful and quiet. Our hosts were always kind and made us feel at home. We truly recommend this room to whoever wants to come and explore Münich, in a quiet and nice environment.
My stay with the Langschwert family is something that I will happily remember for my whole life. The day I ws going to arrive Ingrid, heartily and without any requests, offered herself to pick me up t the airport; which would have been so difficult for me. When I met her son and her daughter I was received with a smile and as I entered the house, I felt myself like some sort of home, although my home is an ocean away from Germany. Ingrid’s husband is simply awesome. All of them helped me with the daily german for my exams; each day after classes I was sent off and received with a smile, which made pleasant to think that, I had somewhere to be in München.
Throughout my whole stay I was suggested many good alternatives and ideas for things like: Trips to other cities, getting yourself together in München, all important registration information, How-To’s & much more. Our English-Germn-Spanish Tandems were simply fabulous. I must say that since I have been by the Langschwert family, my German language has gotten much better and evolved into a more natural way. If you are that kind of person who: Is looking for a comfortable place to be, a wonderful atmosphere, a friendly family, courteous guests, good friends, and the emotion of feeling yourself at home; then a stay with the Langschwerts is DEFINITELY YOUR BEST DECISION.
The trip was really good, Munchen in autumn is nice, the beer and Octoberfest are fantastic.
We had very good staying in Ingrid's house, her description is correct - the room and hosts are really nice, it's easy to go to the house from S-Bahn station (7-10 minutes walking).
