Max´s apartment is very well located. It is literally a block from Los Militares metro station and 20 mins walk to Costanera Center. There is a Unimarc and a Big John minutes away for any grocery shopping you may need. There is also a Laundry shop on 20m away, while there is laundry on the building, you may choose to do it somewhere else; so this is convenient.
The apartment itself is modern and cozy. The AC/heater works well as all other appliances. There is a sound system in case you bring your own music and the TV is modern and slick.
When we were in Santiago it rained like there was no tomorrow and one day the fuses tripped on the apartment. We turned them on again but one GFCI (safety fuse) was still tripping, meaning there was water in one of the circuits. We communicated with Max and explained the situation, he had an electrician the same day to take a look but upon reaching the apartment they wanted to charge much more than quoted so they were dismissed. At the end, I called another electrician, he showed up and fixed the problem. Water leaked through the window and reached a wall plug, that was the culprit. Max covered the charges.
All in all our experience was good, the only improvement I would make to the apartment is the addition of WiFi. We found out there was no WiFi when we first got it, but Alodia (the house keeper) was kind enough to help us arrange for a password so we could access a neighbors signal.
Alodia was very helpful, kind and always kept in touch with us. She is amazing.
I would recommend this place to others just make sure WiFi is arranged if that is a necessity for you.
