  • Ryan was a nice host. The flat was clean and large enough for even two persons.

  • Ryan was a courteous and attentive host. I enjoyed staying at his place and found that it provided ample room for me during my conference in San Francisco. He gave me a nice tour of the studio and showed me how everything works and where everything is stored. He also left plenty of room for my clothes and toiletries. The commute to my conference was quick and at most times I felt safe in the neighborhood, although you do need to be careful at night. The apartment was clean and secure and I would recommend it to other travelers.

  • Ryan was a fantastic host. This was my first airbnb stay, and I could not have been more satisfied. His apartment was clean, well decorated, and in good, working condition when I arrived. Ryan made it a point to meet me at some point during the week, and provided me with networking connections in my field.

I would definitely stay with Ryan again, and recommend him to anyone in the SF area.

  • Well Ryan, simply he is just a great host, he became a good friend to me and we had such a good touch by text till i arrive his apartment, even though i never saw him in real. The apartment is really the same as what he described in his main page. In the first day u will feel like its a not a really safe place, but once you spend second day and going out, u will love the area, specially you will really feel safe the area than anywhere else. I don't have any negative points to describe about the apartment, Ryan or the surrounding area, even though i had such a nice conversations with those strippers who are just in the corner of the building. They are armless and very nice people. Thank you Ryan, You made my stay in San Francisco. Ill definitely will be back to your/my home again......

  • Ryan's place was great. Super great studio, and well located in SF. Easy to get anywhere.

  • I had a fantastic time in San Francisco staying in Ryan's apartment. He had already called me and emailed before my trip to make sure I had all the relevant information and answer any questions. As well as giving me a direct number in case I had any problems getting in or during my stay.

The location is great and it's a simple walk in any direction to get Downtown, up to the Marina, through the coffee shops of Russian Hill or out to the park and West coast through Japantown.

I would definitely recommend Ryan and his apartment to anyone looking at staying in San Francisco and exploring everything the city has to offer.

    August 2012
  • I was Ryan's first guest in his Sunny Central Studio apartment and it was a good experience. Ryan was out of the town at the time, yet he emailed detailed instructions that made the access to his apartment painless. I think it's important for anyone visiting San Francisco to understand the city before making any judgements. SF is a very rustic/hipster town which is reflected on the streets, meaning that buildings are older and the streets are a tad bit unkept. With that said, here are the Pros & Cons:

    Pros:

*Fully renovated apartment (which is a PLUS in San Francisco).
*Very clean and well kept living space.
*Relatively close to everything worth visiting (with some ingenuity, using public transportation).
*Late night eats/liquor stores around the corner.
*Great overall place to stay if you plan on being out and about the majority of your stay.

    Cons:

*Tiny bed (I'm 6'3) and a rather uncomfortable, yet snazzy fold-down couch.
*Street noise was rather loud at times.
    *Dirty fridge.
*A few unmentionable items were left under the bed that I assume would be taken care of for future guests.
*A rough neighborhood in the surrounding areas.

Taking into account that this was Ryan's first go-around at this and that San Francisco is a rustic type of town, this was a good experience. A bit of advice from me, if you are a couple planning on staying here, it may be an uncomfortable squeeze (which Ryan pointed out from the beginning). But if you're visiting the town solo and will be out and about all day long, this is a great place to lay your head down at night (If you're below 5'10).
