One of the finest locations in beautiful Lincoln Park! Your private 1 bedroom apartment is super sunny, fully furnished and faces out onto a delightful & historic woodland avenue. Back in the day, Charlie Chaplin chose to live just doors down, and Mother Cabrini was a resident at the end of our block!
Set in a lovely greystone in the heart of Lincoln Park, this apartment is all AirBnB and located on a gorgeous woodland avenue with all the area has to offer just outside your front door. Only a few blocks to the lakefront, Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago Historical Museum, grocery store, coffee shops, boutique shops, nightlife and tons of great restaurants. Just check out our walk score ("Walker's Paradise" ! "Excellent Transit" ! - (website hidden) ) Local and express bus to downtown literally around the corner. Red Line “El” stop just blocks down Fullerton Avenue. Convenient coin laundry and bike storage in the basement. Recycling program in place. Clean, quiet building; pets welcome. Our guests always comment how wonderful it is for walking and exploring the city!
Our apartment features a new queen-size bed with cushy “topper”. Fold-down couch in living room accommodates two additional guests. Tall ceilings, sturdy vintage construction so you won't hear your neighbors. There is air conditioning in both living room and bedroom in addition to ceiling fans in each room, for those folks who enjoy cool breezes without AC. There are hardwood floors and WI-FI throughout in addition to a Dream Machine stereo phone dock/clock radio and flat screen TV (with Netflix, no cable) in the living room.
The apartment is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether overnight or for extended periods – linens, ironing board and iron, hair dryer…heck, we even supply Band-Aids and an umbrella.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with seating for three, microwave, stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, pots, plates and cutlery – enough equipment to cook a gourmet meal every night! However, we are not a hotel chain and our pricing reflects this. We do not supply personal toiletries, other than soap, since we expect that you will be bringing your own favorites. If you do run out, there is a convenience store 1 block away.
Street parking is incredibly tight, especially on the weekends and most evenings, but if you are traveling by car, parking is available immediately outside the back door for $10/night. Coin laundry in building: laundry soap available on-site for purchase. Additionally, there are several dry cleaners in the immediate vicinity.

Jason and Alyssa were very thoughtful Really enjoyed meeting them. Great apartment, convieniently located for shops, restaurants, and cab/bus lines Ten minute trip to downtown. Walking (website hidden) a lot. Will try to book it for my next visit.
June 2014. The apartment is ideally situated in a quite leafy street near Lincoln Park, yet only a short bus ride to Downtown. It is very well equipped, and Jason was a very hospitable host, keeping in constant touch by email, and responding promptly to any queries. Many excellent local restaurants and shops
a short walk away.Would highly recommend renting this apartment for a relaxing stay in Chicago.
after checking out hotel prices in chicago- I thought it was a good time to try airbnb! This listing really stood out - and I liked the idea of having our own apt. ( rather than just a room) , plus it was exactly in the neighborhood I needed to be in! The street is beautiful, close to walking to stores, the park, etc. and the apartment is perfect. we were 2 family members travelling together- so the fold out couch came in handy- and was perfect. the kitchen had everything you need to make a relaxing breakfast. the apt. is wired, very clean, and felt like "our place" - not like you were staying in a stranger's house or a generic hotel. And Jason ( our host) was great. A nice guy who made the whole stay easy. Id recommend this apt to anyone- it would easily work with kids, or a couple, and although we stayed for a long wknd- it would be a great long term rental- the kitchen has everything you need + the bedroom is pretty spacious with plenty of drawers and a big closet. and the neighborhood was really nice. I would totally stay here again.
My parents and I had a great stay in this lovely apartment. Jason (email hidden) - really welcoming, providing good information and helpful while we were there with logistical questions. The apartment is very comfortable and relaxed, and well equipped. It is a nice size for 3 - with a bedroom and good sofa bed. It is really well situated close to Lincoln Park and the lake, good shops and restaurants - giving it a nice local vibe. And we caught the bus from 3 minutes away into town each day - really easy and straightforward. Highly recommended for a fabulous stay in Chicago.
My partner and I and stayed in Jason's place in Lincoln Park with our toddler while I was attending a conference downtown. The neighborhood is really great for walking around - lots of convenient restaurants and a couple of grocery stores. It's also just a couple of blocks to a playground in Lincoln Park. It was a bit of a long walk to the trains with a stroller (about 15-20 minutes), but it turned out that the buses were quite a bit more convenient than the train to get downtown and they are very close. The actual rental space was nice and the available parking was a great feature. It may not be ideal for people with small children because it was hard to negotiate the building's front stairs and heavy doors with a stroller, but it would be great for a family with older kids. The kitchen was quite well equipped (but with very little counter space). Jason was very friendly and accommodated us arriving earlier than originally planned.
Jason was responsive and available. The apartment was as described, the front room was comfortable and spacious, and the neighborhood was wonderful!
My stay at Jason's apartment was great! The location, first off, is super convenient. It is right near Lincoln Park on a quiet street, but only a block and a half away from great shops and restaurants on Clark St. We were able to walk each morning to Starbucks and Einstein bagels, and a store was just up the street from that for wine/beverages/snacks-type provisions. The apartment itself was clean and tidy, with a great set of windows at the front to let light in and all the necessary things to make the stay comfortable (great sheets, towels, blankets, (email hidden) behind the building made it super convenient for me, since i drove from a few hours away. Jason made it very easy to get in to the building and apartment, and was responsive to my texts with questions.
I will definitely try and stay here again my next trip to Chicago! Thanks Jason!
Our host, Jason, was awesome! He took care of every detail, was incredibly helpful and made our stay wonderful. The apartment was in a great neighborhood, just 1.5 blocks from the waterfront and 1 block from all the shops on Clark St. There are several Divvy bike stands near the apartment so we could rent bikes by the day and cruise around the city ((website hidden)). The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.
Great host, great apartment, great location, really couldn't be happier. Family of 2 adults/2 young children enjoyed the stay and will look for it again the next time we come to Chicago.
