Perfect stay in San Diego thanks to Tanja! She made sure that everything was easy and we had everything we needed. Her RV is really comfortable and in a really good location. I definitely recommend!! Thanks Tanja!
We had a great weekend in San Diego! Tanja provided detailed directions to get to the RV which was very helpful. We did not meet her but she responded quickly to texts. The RV was very clean. We enjoyed the nice flat screen with Pandora and Netflix as well as the Free Wifi. The neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves. The location was great. There were a lot of great restaurants close by and other attractions weren't too far by car. I surely recommend Tanja's RV!
Trip to San Diego was great! Tanja graciously loaned me a bike for the stay, let me keep my bags in the trailer a couple extra hours so I could get out to the beach once before I left, and the RV itself was clean and in good shape (all supplies were stocked, etc.). Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you are looking to save a few bucks and wanted to try something a little different. A couple notes:
-there is a great coffee and smoothie place around the corner. Ate there 4 straight mornings: mango smoothie, everything bagel with cream cheese, and coffee. Delicious. The market next door apparently has great sandwiches.
-I'm a tall guy (6'4") so the shower felt pretty small, and I wouldn't recommend the RV in general for more than one big guy. A couple I think would do fine, maybe with a small child. But not more than that, IMO.
-With the bike Tanja lent me, I had easy access to the bay on the other side of the highway and its network of great trails, including access to the beach and Pacific Beach neighborhood. I rode up to Oscar's for some fish tacos on my last day, about 6 miles I think one way from the RV, and then cruised back on the boardwalk. Great little trip, if you're looking for a few hours to kill.
Thanks again Tanja, had a blast at my conference.
Everything was great, Tanja checked in with me after 1st night to make sure everything was going well and see if I had any questions. RV was better then expected, good location, little mini mart within walking distance and the use of Roku was a nice added feature. Would def come back.
RV was clean and comfortable. Enjoyable stay in a nice part of town close to downtown as well as several beaches. Shower was a little short and required crouching, which didn't bother me but might bother some. Bed was very comfortable and provided a great night's rest.
I was pleased to find an affordable place in a convienent location.
The bed was comfortable and the other trailer owners were quiet. That said the trailer it self was a little run down and lacking some basic ammonites such as wash cloths, kitchen towed (website hidden) filters. If you are not expecting much you will probably be happy.
I would most stay here again for the location and comfort alone. One last thing the hot water in the shower is short lived. I had to turn it off for a bit and on again to finish showering.
Well, the kitchen towel is in the lower drawer left. If you miss anything please let me know DURING your stay and I will happily swing by and get you everything you need.
An RV is adventure and not a Hilton. I hosted over 150 groups in this RV. I have never ever had a complaint regarding the shower. People love it!
I had a wonderful stay in San Diego, and it had everything to do with my host, Tanja, and her cozy RV. The trailer park was quiet, easy to access, and well-located, very close to Old Town and Sea World. The RV was clean, comfortable, and as described.
When I discovered that I had lost my wallet on the first day of my five day stay, Tanja was very quick to help me out and make sure that my trip didn't suffer for it--which is a big deal for someone travelling from another country who doesn't know anyone!
I also appreciated her suggestions for restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores in the neighbourhood, and good sight-seeing options.
I would happily stay here again--next time for longer! Thank you, Tanja!
