Helen and her husband made us very welcome, the very large and well decorated room was spotless and light filled and lovely.
Helen gave us a warm and friendly welcome to her B&B and quickly made us feel at home. We called our room the Royal Room, it was so spacious. Our bed was king size, and there were two comfortable armchairs for relaxing in. Breakfasts were simply the best with delicious home grown eggs.
We stayed with Helen and her family for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it!! Helen and her family were very welcoming and made us feel like we were part of the family. The room was very spacious and we had a great 2 night’s sleep. For breakfast we had eggs from the chickens in the back yard and they were the best tasting eggs we have ever had. Helen was very helpful with all the questions we had. The house was in a very lovely location with gorgeous views of the countryside. We would defiantly stay with Helen and her family in a heartbeat next time we are back in Satley!!!
Perfect overnight stop on the way to Scotland. Accommodation was sparklingly clean and the bed was very comfortable.Beautiful countryside - you could easily stay longer to enjoy the area.
We enjoyed our stay in Helen's lovely home in a spacious room with its own bathroom. The bed was so comfortable - no problems sleeping- and the breakfast was good with eggs from Helen's hens and honey from a neighbour. Helen is a warm, friendly host and the house is easy to find and the location is quiet and rural.
Friendly enthusiastic host, keen to meet and chat with guests and help them really enjoy their stay. I love the great outdoors and the surrounding countryside and love others to appreciate it as much as I do! I'm a farmers daughter so have an understanding of rural life and how to get the most out of it. I am passionate about local produce and wherever possible producing your own!! I love gardening(though my success is limited) and cooking with fresh ingredients. Homemade jams and chutneys are often on the boil! My recent beekeeping exploits are just another way of me trying to do the right thing by nature!
