We are a gay couple who have been together for over 20 years and would be delighted to welcome you to stay in our comfortable and convenient home.
We would be happy to provide you with an extensive continental breakfast in our sunny breakfast room or on the patio listening to the gurgling fountain of our fish pond!
Our neighbourhood is a traditional area of Dublin where you can find all amenities in the locality including supermarket, pubs and most shops that any visitor would require. Because we are so close to the city centre and on a major bus and taxi route, the city is easily accessible for more fine dining and theatre options.
If you like the idea of staying in a real Victorian period home with working real fires and fireplaces, elegant cornicing and a delightful cottage style walled garden, this is the place for you.
The most important rule at our house is that you make yourself at home. Beyond that there are a few small things which we like guests to observe. Smoking is permitted on terrace area only. This is in the back garden outside of our kitchen. We also ask guests to open curtains on their bedroom window during the day when they are leaving the house as closed curtains all day doesn't look so good. Guests who have cars must remember to ask us for guest parking permits for on-street parking.
Excellent accueil de la part de James et Tom. Echanges intéressants et riches au petit déjeuner.
We had two lovley days and nights in Dublin at Toms and James house. Their place is cosy and tastefully furnished. Misty - the little cat - Tom and James are very friendly and helpful guys. We had some interesting and funny conversations, great breakfast, an extremely comfy bed and it took us about 15 minutes to the centre of Dublin on foot. All in all we can only recomend a stay in Toms, James and Mistys Victorian house :-)!
James and Tom were wonderful hosts who truly made us feel at home in Dublin. They gave us great advice on the city and places to check out. We even had a day tour that would cause us to miss breakfast, and James was kind enough to pack us breakfast for our trip. Loved Misty as well. Thank you for having us and we hope to see you soon for a longer stay!
Perfect place with perfect hosts. Thank you so much for the Time we had in your house :)
James and Tom were so friendly and great to talk to. They have a really lovely home in a great spot. We were very happy staying with them, and would again.
This place exceeded all my expectations! James and Tom have a charming home and are wonderful hosts. The accommodations are spacious, clean, and the breakfast they make each morning is delicious. They were both very helpful and more than happy to answer any questions we had about the area. In fact, my girlfriend and I got along so well with them we actually had dinner with them our last night there. This is an airbnb jewel, look no further in your Dublin search.

About the Host, James And Tom
We are a gay couple, together for over 20 years and share our Victorian home with our cat Misty. We enjoy a relaxing home environment and enjoy good food and good conversation. Our tastes are diverse but we both enjoy music; Tom is a choral singer and used to play the trombone in a rock band whilst James is a Gilbert & Sullivan buff and enjoys all types of musical theatre and opera. We both enjoy the theatre, cinema and going to concerts. James' particular passions are gardening and cooking whilst Tom would be more interested in spirtuality and self development. We both enjoy travelling and have recently done two successful home exchanges to Amsterdam and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
