We had a great time in Venice at the apartment of Nicolo, his mother gave us a warm welcome. The apartment is very central located and enough room for the five of us. We didn't spent much time in there because most of the time we were outside, but we would recommend it, because it is an authentic place with plenty of room.
When we arrived at Nicolo's place his mother greeted us. Ms Mainardi was very kind and she explained everything about the apartment. The location of the house was perfect. Most exciting places were in walking distance. We enjoyed staying at Nicolo's place.
It very clean and the very nice. It is a little old and have a feel. The owner of house is very nice and kind! He gave us much help and information about the travel! The area of the house is very good, it near the station, city centre. Everything is good!
Nicolo's apartment was rustic and in a good location within walking distance to tourist attraction sites. He was also friendly and responded quickly to our queries. However, the amenities could be improved.
Nicolò’s home in the San Lorenzo neighborhood of the Castello sestiere was conveniently located to everything and we really got the feel of a true Venetian neighborhood. Nicolò was waiting for us next door at his mother’s home when we arrived. During our stay, he was available to us for any questions or needs. Although we didn’t cook during the few days we were there, the kitchen was a good size and seemed well stocked with cooking utensils. Nicolò has wonderful restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. We tried La Mascareta where we had a great meal and a fantastic wine selection. Nicolò’s home is a great place to stay in Venice.
We had a wonderful experience here in Nicolò's apartment in Venice, and were very happy with him as a host! Nicolò wasn't there when we arrived, but he did everything he could to help us settle in and we were met at the apartment by his father who showed us around. Before we came to Venice, Nicolò sent us detailed suggestions and a map of the area to help us find good places to eat and where to buy groceries, which was so helpful. He was also available up until we arrived, and told us the best way to find the apartment and answered any questions we had. The apartment itself is spacious and beautiful, and just a ten or so minute walk from St. Mark's Place. It rained a lot the weekend we were there, but we enjoyed spending time in the apartment when we weren't out seeing things, and we cooked our own food in the large kitchen. All in all we had a weekend very well spent, and were lucky to find this listing!
We really enjoyed our stay in Nicolo´s apartment! Everything was perfect. The apartment has a special charm, is very central and has everything you need. Nicolo was also very nice to us. I would recommend renting this apartment, and will definitely do it when I come back to the beautiful Venice.
