Nice flat, nice location, super close to the seaside. It was the perfect place to spend my holidays at. Hayri is a very kind and helpful person, he was available whenever I needed help or advice. After such a suberb experience I am looking forward so much to coming back to Istanbul.
Hayri was a very nice guy who had lots of time for me as his guest. The room is fairly central in Uskudar and not far from most major transport
Hayri is a great host, friendly and helpful, and he goes out of his way to make sure his guests' stay is perfect. He showed me places I would probably not have discovered on my own, places to hang out or to get great food, and he invited me to come along during his day to day life - a great way to discover a "real" side of Istanbul that is usually not covered by guide books.
The appartment is literally an eight minute walk away from the Üsküdar ferry pier. Along the walk are two supermarkets (just around the corner), many shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a market.
Staying with Hayri was one of the best experiences I have had travelling abroad. He showed me around the city and shared his food and drink with me. Most of all, now I can say that I have a new friend.
