The Neighborhood

When it comes to Brooklyn neighborhoods, Clinton Hill plays crowd favorite. Some of the most beautiful architecture in New York City can be found in this neighborhood -- and in close proximity to several parks, restaurants, Barclays stadium. In my book, this neighborhood is the best places in the world.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Amy's apartment! We loved her place and it definitely felt like home for the month that we were guests. Plenty of space for the two of us, plus a comfortable bed, big TV, wifi, a workspace, and lots of light. The area is great- it was really convenient to subways (C train right at the end of the block, several others within a 10 min walk), Barclay's Center, and tons of things to do within walking distance, as it is perfectly located between Fort Greene and Prospect Heights. Amy was a great host and communicating with her about check in/out was easy. We had everything that we needed and would definitely stay at Amy's again! Thanks Amy!

  • Amy was a fantastic hostess. She was very accommodating of our needs and responded promptly to any questions we had. The apartment is well equipped and is in a terrific location for those looking to explore the city. Its Close to restaurants, bars, parks, public transit etc. Thank you again for your hospitality Amy!

  • Amy is a pro! Her place was perfect for us and the neighborhood is very cool. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in her beautiful home for a week. It was clean, well maintained and just felt (email hidden)d her record collection (Soul, R&B, Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz, etc...) - Rainy mornings with coffee, Richie Havens and David Bowie - Perfect!
Above and beyond the wonderful accommodations were Amy's detailed house manual, a list of recommendations for, and brief reviews on, local restaurants, attractions, laundry service, etc... This lady has her S&*t together! Thank you Amy

  • My wife and daughter and I had a very nice time staying at Amy's place in Brooklyn. This was our first airbnb experience and she was super accommodating to our needs and good at providing information about the neighborhood and answering questions pertaining to our visit. The apartment truly is spacious by New York standards and the location is fantastic — less than a block to the C line to Manhattan and within easy walking distance of Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It's also close to the G line so hops up to Williamsburg and Greenpoint are simple. Lots of nearby bars, restaurants, and coffee places made dining out easy. All in all a great experience.

  • Can't really add to much to the other positive reviews - we were very pleased with our stay at Amy's place. The apartment is large, clean and comfortable. Communication with Amy worked perfectly from booking until check-out. And Clinton Hill is a great neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

  • My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed at Amy's lovely apartment for 4 nights. It was very convenient to the Fort Green Farmers Market and the Brooklyn Flea. Two things we love to check out when in town. The space worked perfectly for the three of us, it really is spacious! The stairs going up are slanted to the center, but that gives it real NYC charm :) We never actually met Amy, her boyfriend gave us the key and the whole transaction was quite easy. I would stay here again when visiting family, it was a pretty walk along Clinton with its mansions. The area has some great restaurants too.

  • Great apartament, nice neighboorhood. A block away from the subway. Amy was really nice and always answered all of our e mails right away. Very clean and also nice neighbors. She left a guide at the apartament about places to go nearby and it was really helpful. We even went to one of the restaurants she suggested and it was perfect. Thank you so much, we had a terrific time!

  • This apt worked out great. Really close to one Subway (the C) and a few block walk to Barclays Center for a myriad of other subway choices. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Short subway ride to Manhattan.

Comfortable, cozy one bedroom with full kitchen. Wonderful bed. We used the futon in living room for our one extra person. Worked out great.

Amy is so helpful, friendly and accessbile to us. She was a big help when we needed her and unobtrusive the rest of the time :). I would recommend this place. Be advised it is a third floor walk-up and no elevator. If you have trouble with stairs, may not be the best choice for you.

  • My friends and I spent a week in Amy's apartment. We found everything we needed there just like Amy said. The apatment is located just close to the subway and was very easy to go to Manhattan and to the airport JFK. Amy was very helpful with her recommandations and even if we didn't meet her we comunicated very well. We would stay there again!
