The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood and apartment block. It is fully as described and is charming and quirky. It is full of character and felt like home, being clean and comfortable throughout. It was a perfect base for our travels around NYC and is close to excellent subway links.
We were made to feel very welcome by Juliet from the initial booking through to our departure. She was attentive to our requests for information and provided details of restaurants, stores, how to get to from and to the airport.
Coffee was waiting for us and we totally enjoyed our stay. It allowed us to see bits of New York which we have not seen before.
I would recommend using this apartment!
I really enjoyed my stay at Juliet's place, and everything was as described. My only recommendation is to bring earplugs if planning to sleep in on the weekdays, and enjoy the central location! Only a short distance to most everything in NYC. I would love to return and stay again. Boil the tap water before drinking- I had a stomach bug that didn't go away until I started to be vigilant about my drinking water. Juliet was really sweet and responsive. Thanks, Juliet!
I had a very nice stay in this Upper East NYC apartment. It is very good located in a pleasant friendly and secure neighbourhood. The apartment is in a quiet building. I noticed no noises from neighbours. For those who wish a proper and clean place in NYC where to come home to and for the rest fully enjoy the Big Apple it is an absolute recommendable spot. Also Juliet responds fast to your queries and has everything organized in a friendly and practical manner.
We loved staying at Juliet's place. It was a quaint apartment with everything that we needed. A couple avenues walk to the train and great restaurants near by. Juliet was amazing at giving us details on everything and responds super quickly. We had such a great time, can't wait to be back!
Honestly this was my first airbnb experience and Juliet's place was awesome! Perfect for what my boyfriend and I needed. We were coming to new york for a few days after Christmas over New Years Eve. The place is perfect to use as a home base. Comfortable bed, hot water and the heated apartment is great to come home to. Wifi worked perfectly for both of us, no problems there. Quiet area, felt safe walking around at night. Not as busy and loud as times square (especially over new years eve!) Great food places in walking distance, although it was rather cold, we walked almost everywhere! Great location. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Juliet!
Everything was as described and worked perfectly. The flat was warm, the water was hot, there was lots of storage/hanging space and Juliet gave us lots of tips for restaurants in the neighbourhood and was extremely helpful with other queries. I would definitely recommend it to friends wanting a 4 or 5 night stay in New York.
We had a great stay. The apt was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. Also very quiet. Juliet was so atentive, contacting us everyday to see if we were doing well and asking if we needed anything. On nice days we were able to walk to Rockefeller Center, down fifth and Madison ave. So we thought the location was really good. Lots of restaurants and breakfast eateries, drug and grocery stores in the neighborhood. It was a most pleasant stay and we would do it again sooner than later!!!!!!
