Sandra was very helpful, she gave recommendations about places to hang out in kusadasi. And it turned out the places were amazing! Her place is very strategic ull just need to walk less than 10 minutes to the city center and bar street. Eventhough its located the very steep hill but the terrace view was breathtaking. Oh one thing, the breakfast was also nice. It exactly felt like home.
Sandra was very accomodating and friendly. She gave us accurate directions from apartment to town centre. We were introduce to a reliable taxi driver, Fevzi, by Sandra. She help to liase with the driver anytime we needed help around. She was also nice to let us check out a tad later so we could freshen up for a 12 hour bus ride. Breakfast was serve well and good, sadly we couldn't get to enjoy it on the terrace due to the cold weather. Nevertheless, it was still a great experience staying with Sandra. Thank you!
Ray, Anika and I enjoyed Anzac Golden Pension in Kusadasi even if it was just a one night stay en route to Ephesus. Sandra, the owner, was out of town but Recep took great care of us. It is a simple, clean, well run small pension with many charming elements and a fantastic roof top terrace for breakfast, spectacular views and good company. Mostly, we found the warm welcome and willingness to help the most outstanding quality about this place. Anzac Golden felt "real". We had one of our best nights on our trip in this charming hideaway.
It was great meeting Sandra! She was extremely helpful and cheerful company and the room was absolutely perfect for our stay. Though our visit to Kusadasi was brief, staying at her hotel and especially the wonderful breakfast on the roof terrace made it memorable!
Sandra was warm in welcoming us and upgraded us to two rooms instead of a triple which was very comforting after the last place and gave us a room facing the sea and my son was happy to get his own room. The rooms are smallish and comfortable tho not plush but the toilets are small and the only low point though we spent little time there!! It was nice to have our bags taken up to our room (and down) by Rejib and after a quick check in we were asking for directions around the pretty old part of Kusdasi where the Golden Bed Anzac is situated. Sandra got us picked up at the airport and the taxi also took us to Efes besides dropping us back later. These and other little pointers like the bus to Denizli, the seafood restaurant on the pier, the Turkish bakery down the road where we could order in food were great tips. Sandra even threw in the AC for free else its an extra - not really required but personal tastes differ. I loved the sea breeze and watching the cruise liners come in at 6.30 every morning and depart at sunset....all minutes away from the Pension. The breakfast was Turkish with boiled eggs tomatoes cucumber great bread and beverages jam butter cheese and happy to fill you in on anything you may want. Also a great place to just sit and enjoy the sight of the yachts and the nightlights of the burgeoning town. What stands out was Sandra's ability to reach out well before you landed to make sure everything was clear and comfortable to her doorstep. Good stay with great people thank you Sandra and Rejib!
Staying at Sandra's was a very good experience, the hotel is in the midst of the old section of Kusadasi, therefore avoiding the extreme tourist areas but still it was close to the port and beaches. Sandra was a great hostess she was very helpful and friendly and made us feel at home and the hotel was spotless. The terrace has a great view of the city and we enjoyed having breakfast in the open.
