  • Cute little house and great neighborhood. Thanks for helping to make our weekend so fun and easy!

  • Quiet and comfortable. It is a great location for visiting sights around Denver. We mostly did not use the kitchen, but it is well-stocked for meal preparation. The apartment was neat and clean, with comfortable furnishings and pleasant decor. It has a nice, homey feeling. There are lots of extras provided, like a cooler. It is an excellent alternative to a hotel.

  • My sisters and I enjoyed our stay at Carey's apartment. We loved the historic elements of the home and the eclectic neighborhood. Highly recommended!

  • We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Centrally and conveniently located, this beautiful home let us pretend we were locals!! Plus the rooftop patio is a huge bonus. We would absolutely stay here again :)

  • We had an absolutely great time. The location was perfect and the house was well furnished and even had basic cooking supplies in the pantry. Our favorite part was patio. The view was mostly of other houses, but it was still pretty cool.

  • Wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, so you can easily cook all meals. The wifi worked well. Plenty of street parking right in front of the house. Great shower. Comfy bed. Quiet area. We had a wonderful weekend!

  • Very clean place in a good location in Denver (close to downtown and the new Trader Joe's, plus within walking of a coffee shop and a few restaurants). The apartment was light and airy. There were plenty of cooking utensils, spices, and glasses. The bathroom was fine and had towels, shampoo, etc.

The only downside was that the bedroom was a little cold and the bed was very lumpy and squeaky. The closet was great and spacious, with coat hangers at the ready. Street parking was available, though it was on a fairly busy one-lane road.

There was also a very lovely roof deck with chairs. I thought that was a nice touch on a cute one-bedroom apartment. I would definitely stay there again.

    Response from Carey:

Thank you for the review Kara. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in Denver. I'm sorry you had problems with the bed being lumpy and squeaky. Also wanted to let you know that there is a space heater in the bedroom so that our guests will be nice and toasty warm on winter evenings. Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention. We'll take care of these right away. We pride ourselves in being able to offer our guests a comfortable, relaxing experience.

  • Carey was a great host. The apartment felt like home immediately. I will definately recommend her place to others. Thanks Carey for the chance to stay at your apartment.
    Thanks,

  • Carey's place was perfect. Clean, spacious, and convenient to park and get around Denver. I'd highly recommend checking it out if you need a place to stay in town.

  • This was my first experience personally booking on AirBnB and it was outstanding! Carey was very easy to reach, quick to respond and left my Dad and I feeling completely taken care of from the moment of inquiry about the apartment until well after our stay was over. Since I had never been to Denver or booked anything on the site before, I was debating on getting a motel in the same area for about $15 cheaper. Thank God I went with my gut and booked Carey's place! It was excellent, well-worth the money and superior to any hotel room I have ever booked at the same price. It's in a great location, cozy, safe and has a lot of character: a nice getaway for anyone traveling through Denver. The kitchen is surprisingly well stocked with items I didn't even expect to find: food processor, blender, lots of great spices and even champagne and shot glasses. We had a chance to meet her on our way out and she was very friendly and hospitable. When my father left some items in the master bedroom, Carey was nice enough to message me and offer to mail them.
Outstanding! I definitely recommend this place to everyone and will absolutely refer all my friends visiting Denver to stay here.

About
I love the great outdoors so living in Colorado makes it easy to participate in outdoor activities - biking, hiking, and enjoying the great scenery Colorado has to offer. Thanks to owning a Kindle I read several books each week. I like to knit and enjoy food at the great restaruants around Denver especially when dinning with friends.
