Where you’ll be

Arkutino, Sozopol, Bulgaria

The apartment is located in the St Thomas Holiday Village. It is a luxury resort with various swimming pools, a restaurant in the hotel and another one by the main pool, playgrounds and a mini market, as well as a spa and a beauty parlor with a hairdresser and manicure/pedicure. The resort is surrounded by stunning beaches: two are within walking distance and one of those has a surf school and a nice beach bar, but many more beaches are just minutes away by car. You could also swim and dive by the rocks just below our apartment (at your own risk since there are no lifeguards there). The rocks are perfect for some quiet reflection or a fun pastime, as well.
The surrounding area is a nature reserve so there are also various nature-oriented activities like taking a boatride along the Ropotamo river, bird-watching or going on hikes in the nearby Strandja mountain.
Last but not least, the town of Sozopol is a great place for cultural tourism with its fortress and other artifacts of ancient Greek and Roman origin. They often organize open air concerts and there is also an open air cinema.
