Excellent flat in good central location. Everything that we needed for our three day stay was there. We would certainly stay there again when we next visit Paris. Catherine was communicative and helpful.
I was in Paris last week and we stayed at Catherine's appartment. We had a great time there and everything was organised pretty well. Catherine herself couldn't be there to show us the appartment but she made sure someone else did. During our stay she asked a couple of times if everything was OK. So she's a very nice host!
The appartment is exactly how it is is described en how it looks like at the photo. So you know what you see is what you get! It's small but it has everything you need.
Only downside is that it's pretty noisy (but most of the surrouding appartment are offices or something like that so it doesn't bothter that much) and I didn't like the pillows - but hey, if that's evenything?
So great place to stay en very close to several metrostations, busstations and culture. And you can actually walk there from Gare du Nord in about 25 minutes.
This flat is very cosy. We felt like we were living in Paris not like tourists. The shops are close to the apartment, there is even a shop that works on Sunday. Metro stations are also nearby. The flat is centrally located so you can reach a lot of sightseeings by feet.
Catherine was very kind and answered every question we had.
We enjoyed our one week stay in Catherine's romantic flat in Paris! I love the Opera/Madeleine district of the city. The apartment is very well situated in a quiet street off a main road. It is very safe with a code to get through the front door. When we first arrived, there seemed to be a function or exhibition going on in the apartment next door to us. One lady buzzed our apartment through the inter com to ask us to let her in! There was a bit of noise in the apartment building very early in the morning because they are renovating the elevator. It seems the elevator is out of action from the 20/1-15/2?. Luckily we are young and fit so we could carry our heavy bags up the two flights of stairs, but it would have been inconvenient for the elderly or those with a disability who were depending upon a lift. There is a really convenient Monoprix just around the corner where you can buy all your groceries. A major train station, Gare Saint Lazare, is only an 8 minute walk away from the apartment which is really handy! This is a very exclusive area of Paris so a lot of the restaurants in the area are very expensive. So be warned, you may have to travel a bit to find a reasonably priced restaurant, which is difficult in the cold of winter but fine in the summer months! Catherine herself is lovely and very warm and accommodating. The kitchen is very well equipped with a microwave oven (though I noticed the power socket was coming off the wall so I didn't touch it), and a kettle and refrigerator. The bed is super comfortable and the heater works very well. I was terribly bitten all over my body by some sort of bug on a couple of the nights we were staying in the apartment. I'm unsure what it was but it could have been mosquitoes. It was very puzzling! Overall, a good stay!
Very nice location!
The apartment was GREAT, clean and fully equipped with everything you need and the Wi-Fi was super-fast. The apartment is in a central place near to every attraction place in Paris; 15 min walking from Champs-Élysées, 10 min from La Madeleine and many others. 5 min from St. Augustin metro station where you can get to all metro lines and RER. I would recommend it to others.
great location, nice apartment!
Everything in catherine's apartment was great, location was perfect for tourism and her place was nice and clean for 2-3 people. Secure area and close to great restaurants, cafes and a monoprix...The only thing was that we struggled with hot water in the shower. If i ever go to Paris again i will definitely stay there again.
