We stayed in Catherine's apartment in Paris for the 1st week of July. The apartment was great! It had everything we needed, and a washing machine too. Catherine was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The neighborhood is quiet, but has many restaurants, both small and large, nearby. There is even a grocery store two blocks away. Our stay was very relaxing and I can't wait to visit Paris again!
Catherine was friendly and very helpful. The flat was setup really nice and was like the pictures in airbnb, it was very beautiful! Location was the best, it was real close to the metro, shops, restaurants and we were able to get to anywhere in Paris.
I strongly recommend Catherine's Flat. Thanks a lot.
This flat offered by Catherine was perfect. It was close to many attractions and the Metro. Monoprix department/grocery store was just around the corner. The flat itself was very comfortable with enough amenities to make you feel at home. It was a quiet neighborhood. Parking was an issue but you are in Paris, you don't need a car. We would stay in this flat again and again.
We had such a great short stay in Paris! Catherine was communicative well before the trip as I booked it about 7/8 months in advance. The instructions to the apartment were clear and simple and could not have been any easier! The train is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and the 9 connects with a lot of lines if need be! Plus it's a 10 minute walk from Opera for the Roissybus which is the easiest way from CDG.
When you open the building's front door for the first time it almost takes your breath away as it's like living in your own Parisian castle with the courtyard and huge doors. The marble and entry way are also gorgeous and the stairs up to the 2nd floor are not too bad! The elevator is cute and perfect for putting one person and bags in to bring them up/down.
The apartment door is a little tricky to open with the key, the trick is to pull the door towards you and turn the key. It may stick when you try to turn it without doing this.
The apartment was just big enough for all 3 of us to sleep and house all our stuff comfortably and safely. The bed was very comfy and we got great sleep! Bathroom was really nice and shower got pretty hot. The kitchen included a little fridge which was perfect for chilling wine and saving our treats.
The apartment does get a little hot in the summer, which is expected, but there are no AC or fans so be prepared! However all the windows open up to the courtyard which provides a little air.
The wifi works great and had no issues at all. Our check out couldn't have been more simple and we were so happy to call it home for 3 days. Thanks!
We had a nice stay in Catherine's flat. The location is great and the flat had everything we needed.
I'm so sorry about that. as it is the first time it is mentionned, I will see him and explain to take care of the neighbours if he has a party or something like this. I was in Strasbourg the we you waere in the aprt to visit my relatives. As I have the neighbour's number, the next time I call him even in the night.
Thanks for your feedback
Catherine's apartment is small but functional and very good value for the money. It is in the business area of Paris so fairly quiet, but within easy reach of most attractions. Catherine is very friendly and made a point of coming to see us even though she was away when we arrived.
Apartment was lovely, very close to everything we wanted to see in Paris! Easy to access the heart if the city either on foot or via Metro! Very clean and good communication.
It's right there a walk away from everything. Very comfortable place, You feel a touch of home. Thanks Catherine and airbnb.
Catherine made sure that I had everything that I needed. The place was exactly as described. The location is perfect for excursions throughout the city. Highly recommended.
