We had a pleasant stay at the apt. The location is the best, it was absolutely walking distance to most of the attractions. A glass door is now added behind the balcony wooden door to keep the street noise down. Vu is very friendly, picked us up at the airport (this part is at extra cost though), helped us preload a local SIM card, and came meet us at 5am for the checkout, with a taxi arranged for airport transport. Overall we are pretty happy with our stay! Thanks Tram and Vu!
Airport pick-up was worth the additional fee and it makes a difference to be met by a friendly face. Greatly appreciated help with suitcase as have a bad back. He would have helped in ant way he could.
Tram and Vu were excellent in terms of accomodating for us. They really go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of in vietnam. If they can't help you, they try their best to connect you to people who can. The location is great and very local feel.
The building itself is old so just know the steps leading up to the room are a bit dirty. But the room is great and beautiful view.
Vu was a great host with great advice for the city. The apartment has an excellent central location and is very well-maintained. Highly recommended.
We had a great time in Tram's beautiful apartment. The location is ideal for exploring all of the main sights in HCMC and it was great to be so close to the night market. Contact with Vu was extremely quick and friendly and he was kind enough to meet us early in the morning. He recommended that we try the street food just outside the apartment which was delicious!
Vu was fantastic and came and met me at the airport. He also arranged my approval letter beforehand which was a great help.
The room was clean and in a great location, if you want authentic then this is the place. The building is old and the staircase and passage ways leading to the apartment are an interesting mix of not so nice and nice smells.
I would however stay there again.
A wonderful apartment in a perfect location. It had all the necessary amenities for a traveling person - fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, enough crockery and cutlery, a microwave, towels, shower gels and shampoos, a TV, high speed Internet. Felt like home, actually.
Saigon was hot when we visited but lucky for us the room was cool and it helped that there was free flowing drinking water. We actually looked forward to going back to the room at the end of every outing.
Vu was an excellent host. He helped pick us up from the bus station, carried my bag up the three flights of those dark stairs (thereby giving these middle aged legs some respite), and when we told him we were starving, he walked us to a nice halal restaurant nearby.
Saigon was a nice trip, but the apartment and its host were the icing on the cake.
Thanks Vu and Tram.
