We are stay in this apartment for three days. Is very nice host. And the house is really clearn is same like the picture. Host is a nice guy share a lot of experience for us and very helpful until we are leaving. You go everywhere can by walk don't worry about that. Take taxi also cheap. Thanks for Him let us have a very nice trip.
We were met at the airport and taken to the apartment. Fantastic studio apartment in a brilliant location. Close to everything, we barely needed to take a taxi. The coffee shop downstairs, L'uisine, serves delicious coffee and food and has fast internet. The building is shared by a street "restaurant", their breakfast and lunch meals are cheap and excellent, don't be afraid to try! There is a little bit of traffic noise and you might hear the neighbours in the hallway now and then but this didn't bother us. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.
The apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, interesting and in a great area! Tram was an excellent host and arranged collection of the key and drop off with no hassle. I would definitely stay here again!
The apartment was only a short walk from the bus station and very close to the markets and lots of restaurants. Everything you need is in very short walking distance.
We were disappointed not to meet Tram during our stay, as he seemed very nice and helped us lots with the planning for our time in HCMC. His assistant, Vu, met us at the airport. He was very friendly and able to provide good suggestions and information.
The apartment's location is a perfect base to have for a visit - it's close to most things and we were able to quickly walk back there from wherever we were several times a day. It is spacious, has a huge bed and the balcony is a great place to sit with a drink and watch the scooters speed by.
The studio is centrally located and right in the middle of the action. You won't have to go far before bumping into a great café or eatery. Like the guests before me, I highly recommend the sidewalk café just outside the building. It's run by a lady who lives in the flat next door where all the cooking takes place. You might even see the food being delivered at break neck speed down the winding staircase by her staff. Service is a bit brisk but is well worth it, her noodles with spring rolls and grilled pork are to die for!
Just around the corner is L'Usine cafe and boutique. It sells great coffee, solid meals and yummy pastries. It's a great little spot to unwind and chill out. Though pricey compared to street food, we also found a Japanese owned fromagerie and pizza restaurant called 4Ps. (website hidden) the address and go, it's amazing. For more dining tips, don't forget to have a look at the guestbook in the studio. You will find a great number of recommendations from other guests too.
As for the studio itself, it's well equipped and well cared for. You will find everything you need for your stay (linen, safety deposit box, tea, coffee, crockery and cutlery etc ) It is clean and has a mini bar and little snacks at a reasonable price. My partner and I gave this particular aspect a good workout! We were particularly charmed by the high ceiling, french doors and beautiful original tiles.
Though slightly worn, the century old building itself has a beautiful staircase and had a former life as a hotel. It now houses ordinary working class people who you might cross paths with from time to time. It's so much more interesting than a sterile hotel.
Last but not least, our host Tram was a breath of fresh air. He was cheerful, enthusiastic and always easy to contact. If you have any questions, Tram's your man! He even hauled my bag up the stairs, that's service!
The next time I'm in Saigon, I would love go come back to this lovely little studio.
Tram is really a great host, very friendly and articulate in every sense. He explains all the intricate details of the area and makes us feel really welcome. The place is also very unique leaves a deep great impression, it is also located in an excellent area! Highly recommended!
Tram is a fantastic host, the whole stay was such a pleasure for us. We got lot of good tips on where to go and what to see and spent lovely eve together out in the market. The place is nice and comfy with all zhe smen needed and in walking distance from all the main Saigon attractions. The best place to stay in Saigon. All thumbs up! Tram keep in touch! Martin& Sue
Tram was a wonderful host! He met us at the airport and was super friendly and helpful with information about the city and the apartment. When we first arrived we realised we needed an adapter for our phones etc and Tram rushed out and came back with two adaptors - he gave us one and asked us to leave one for the apartment - so helpful!! The apartment itself is lovely and Tram made us feel at home. It is a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of busy Ho Chi Minh city. We spent our NYE sitting on the balcony watching the world go by and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of our apartment. It is clean and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The guest book is full of helpful information and suggestions from both Tram and past guests.
Our experience staying at Tram's apartment in HCMC was a highlight of our stay in Vietnam. It felt like a home away from home and we wont hesitate to stay there again when we return to HCMC.
From the moment we arrived to the time we left Tram was the always gracious and welcoming host - he helped recover our lost luggage and introduced us to his friends who organised a great tour to the Cu Chi tunnels.. The apartment itself is very centrally located and you can be at any of the major sites within a 10 min walk. Major shops and the Saigon market are outside your door. Would highly recommend Tram and the lovely French apartment
Tram was a fantastic host and made our arrival and stay in HCMC a breeze. The apartment is very comfortable and you cannot ask for a more central location. We loved the cafe just below to hang out and enjoy a real cappuccino and some fusion food.
Trams help with everything from taxis to sim cards and even arranging storage for our luggage and getting us on the train were greatly appreciated, so he is highly recommended!
