Solo guests will love this spot in James Bay, Victoria on Vancouver Island.
It's a small upstairs duplex in a 40's character house that is somewhat eclectic and funky. One bedroom is available with a comfortable double bed. Shared bathroom. Kitchen available by prior arrangement. Internet and parking included.
This location is within walking distance to several fine coffee shops and restaurants, Fisherman's Wharf, downtown, parks, beaches, and a small shopping centre.
You will feel welcomed as soon as you venture into my home.
Local bus service is one half a block from here.
The neighbourhood is uniquely interesting due to a plethora of heritage homes, tree-lined streets, all ages folks and a pleasant ambiance, yet not too far away from exciting sight-seeing opportunities and night life.
My passions include the creation of paintings, a garden and music. Therefore my home reflects this...lots of interesting things to look at, creatively cluttered, yet serene in its own way.
This is a very good experience. The location is good, and the room is precisely as described. And Annie is an awesome host, nice, considerate and knowledgeable. It's a pity that we don't have much time to chat, otherwise I guess I would learn a lot from her. The house itself is also very interesting. I can smell different cultures, and looks quite a few paintings are from Annie.
