The Space

Please CONSIDER THAT
Things to know:
- There is a option to have the aIr conditioning,
Since electricity is very high in Spain you will need to pay an extra upon arrival.
Ask for the price depending on steps and days.

In Alicante the air conditioning is not normal to have it by construction in the whole house and since I rent by room and person you enjoy a portable equipment that cool the room and the living.
Ask me when is need it,,,July isnt as hot, maybe somedays..August you may need it depending on you,,but Alicante has a Mediterranean climate.

- If you rent the flat for "one person" o two" or three... you are enjoying your own room and the living, kitchen and two batrooms but the other two rooms are no available.
Nobody will come to the flat but you use just your room.

- Price :

And also if you book the flat for some people and then some days some letf early: Sorry we can not charge less for that nights when there are less people. the flat is hire like a whole for the certain number you booked (the highest number of people)
And Viceversa: if you book for less and some more people comes then you have to pay for all the people that comes to the flat. (And if they just come for a few days and you have booked not counting them , the tariff they will pay would be double you pay per person dividing the total amount.)

-If you arrival time is after 21:00 or weekends I will need to charge 10 € when you arrive. (I have a kid and I need to leave him)

-If you like I may (on request) pick you up at the airport for 15 € and 20 € nights (from 20 pm to 1 am) / or before 11 am.
If you come after 1 am I will need to charge half day or extra 30€ .

Better ask your price if you do not undestand:) Thank you!

- The accomodation:

Its a 3 bedrooms (before 4) and a living. Kitchen & 2 batrooms.
The 7th person enjoys a doble couch.
Terrrace in the living for smokers and to hung laundry.
We prefer families and calm young people groups, non smokers & no party!.
The furniture and wardrobes are made of good wood as well the floor.
The bathroom has a bath. And the other one has a shower.
We prefer non smokers. But there is terrace right by the living room where you can smoke happily.
And smoking is prohibited in the rooms, sorry.

The kitchen has a balcony for smog, owen and laundry.
Matresses and linen are included and new:)

  • Carolina was very accommodating and friendly. We were picked up at the airport and Carolina showed us the way to the apartment, explained, and pointed out the main coordinates about transportation, shopping, sightseeing etc. We paid 20 euro for this and it seemed like fair deal for both parties.

The apartment would have been nice to stay in if there had been clean and tidied up. The location is very good. Unfortunately, there was a thick layer of dust on all the furniture, the toilets smelled and the kitchen was greasy inclusive cabinet doors, porcelain, kitchen stuff, etc. When you touched anything, your hands got greasy. We were not satisfied at all. Finally, we paid 39 euro for the end cleaning which properly would not be carried out.
It is also worth noticing that the pictures on airbnb has nothing to do with the real look of the apartment: The sofas are covered with a blue blankets and there was a lot of old stuff in all the corners and shelves. The overall impression of the apartment was that it is messy and greasy.

  • Carolina is a lovely landlady. She is very knowledgeable of the area and her tips about food and places made our trip fantastic. She was also very helpful getting us a cot for our baby. The flat is in an area where you can find everything that you can think of and at a walking distance to the city centre. Would definitely stay at her spacious flat again!

  • Fantastic apartment, with a great host! Carolina was very helpful and the apartment was perfect. We were only three people so there was plenty of room. The apartment is a short walk from the old town of Alicante and is situated in a less touristy area which is great!

  • We had a great time in Alicante during Las Hogueras at Carolina's Apartment. It was very well placed for all of the festivities. we had two or three hogueras (statues) just around the corner from us and many tapas bars and restaurants. It is a quiet. friendly area that is well provided with shops supermarkets grocers bakers etc. all within a couple of minutes from the apartment, The walk to the beach to watch the fireworks was 15 mins and to town around 20 minutes.
The apartment itself was very spacious and clean and comfortable. Carolina was very nice and friendly and gave us a lot of useful information. There were 6 of us at one point and we were all comfortable there. if you come with a big group you might want to check to see if Carolina can get more than 2 sets of the security keys, that was the only downside for us.
Overall both the apartment and Carolina were lovely and I would recommend them both :-)

  • We spend 4 great days at Carolina's place in June of 2013. The flat is fully equipped and clean. Very well equipped kitchen, no noise from the street and comfy bed! The apartment is at an excellent location, near the center of Alicante and very well connected, close to many tourist attractions and restaurants. Everything is about 20 min walking. The parking place very useful, but only with small car and not for beginner drivers :)). Carolina was very flexible with arrival and departure times and so the holiday was stress free. Highly recommended. Thank you for all.

    Best Regards. Carolina

  • I can't recommend this apartment enough! Carolina was extraordinarily gracious and told us to contact her if we had any difficulties - we didn't have any at all. Extraordinarily spacious and open, we truly felt at home in the apartment. Walking distance to the beach many great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, it is very well situated. What a fantastic weekend in Alicante! Hope to stay with Carolina again soon!

  • This is a spacious apartment in a good, reasonably central part of town. All the rooms are well equipped as it has been a family home. Nearby there are shops, cafes, and buses and the tram are also within about a 10 minute walk. The tram provides an enjoyable ride along the coast towards Benidorm - we stopped at a lovely seaside town called La Villa Joyosa - nice beach, restaurants and even a chocolate museum and factory to look around. We slept well, there is some street noise but it only starts at about 8 am when people are getting going. The mattresses we used were comfortable - two in another room were a lot harder. Carolina, our host, made us feel welcome and even picked us up at the airport. Overall the apartment suited us for a short stay and was very good value for money.

  • My friend and I stayed in Alicante for 4 days in January 2013 . Carolina very kindly picked us up from the train station and showed us to the apartment. It was lovely!! It is very, very big great value for money! There is everything you would need for a comfortable stay , including comfortable beds. Not the best nights sleep as apartment is on a street that during the night is busy with bin lorries etc but for 4 nights it wasn't a problem!
We could easily access the city centre of Alicante and I would say the beach is about 20 mins walking! During our stay in Alicante January/ February, the weather was lovely!! I will certainly be returning to Alicante!! Also, Carolina gave recommendations on places to visit!

  • We celebrate new year's eve in alicante. So it was a little bit cold without central heating, but nevertheless with the help of electric heaters Carolina has saved the situation:) the only one thing that I did' t like that there is no double bed,you can move two beds close to each.
Except this everything was great! Quite area, not far from beach, maybe 15-20 min on foot. Several supermarkets around with fresh fish on Tuesdays and Thursdays;)

  • What an amazing value I got for my money the flat was absolutely everything in th picture you see and more, great location and my opinion no noise super quiet. Just the kind of quiet environment I was looking for. The host is super kind and willing to help and she actually was so nice to pick me and drop me off at the train station on arrival and departure. Highly recomendable place close to everything :)

About
My ph(phone number hidden) I like to meet people and share life. I like to be moving on and discover new life.Love travelling and diferent cultures;when travelling I have to stay in the place to discover the real place,,,not interesting in seeing touristic places but to fell the life on there. Thats why I like to go where I have friends to show me "places": a coffee shop, a lake, a mountain...a second hand store,... And thats why I like to give the oportunity to rent a house so you can spend more time in the place,,and be yourself..Sometimes a hotel is great, but sometimes you need more space and freedom. I love Quebec, the Foret, the Atikamek nation and being one with the nature drinking form the Lake and fountains; New Orleans, my kind of town, "be new orleanian wherever your are", London, Paris ,,El Batan, Teruel, the Vasc Country, I need to go there once a year!, Mexico!...MArruecos, Senegal, and willing to go to Africa Magadaskar or ..another island: havent discoverded yet the Oceania..or Amazonas.
