Interaction with Guests
Very little interaction if any. They have the entire home. (Separate studio upstairs with its own private entrance).
Most neighbors have lived there a long time. Some homes are newer and some are older 'cottages'. The tenants will be on their own. This is a dead end street and not many neighbors.
No. It is best to have a car. There is parking in front of the home and in the driveway.
No smoking, quiet neighborhood, no wild parties, Have fun! When staying weekly, please re-supply your own Toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Alana is very kind and welcomed us with a call to make sure we knew when we could get in. She worked it out so we could come in earlier that 5 pm. Great location and close to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. It is a basic beach condo and could use some upgrading. Even so we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for something close to the beach and not too fussy about decor, this is the place for you! Be sure to eat at Old Juan's Cantina for great mexican food just a few blocks away!
We had a wonderful experience in Alana's house. We were a group of 10 and rent both the downstairs 2-brms and the upstairs studio which turned out to be a very comfortable stay for our thanksgiving reunion.
The house is clean and has lots of beds, big kitchen area and great location which is close to sand dune ATV beach, butterfly grove etc. It is not a luxury treat, but worth the money if you have a budget.
Economical option, but we wouldn't stay a second time. The unit is in OK condition, but the beds and noise from the upstairs neighbor make it hard to sleep well. Very nice owner/manager.
Listing description was accurate, the accommodations were great for our group. This location is within walking distance to the beach and ATV park.
This beach bungalow was the perfect place for us to crash for the weekend. Super close to Pismo (for your ATV'ers), the spot feels like a secluded beach community. The place was clean, presentable, and very comfortable. Recommend this place to people looking for an unpretentious spot around the Arroyo Grande area. Note: Cleaning fee was a little expensive and we had to do the laundry for towels and sheets...
Alana was very welcoming, sending both directions and leaving voice mail to make sure we knew how to find keys and how to access the home. The home is near the beach - the nature walk is lovely - and the beach is an all vehicle access beach. The home is well loved and the neighbors quite friendly.
