Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Boho is a new tiny home built by EscapeTraveler.net located in the California foothill countryside on 18 beautiful acres with abundant peace, nature, and wildlife.

The space
The Boho is situated 5 minutes from the town of North San Juan along the Highway 49 gold country corridor. The North San Juan Ridge is lovely country between the South Fork (15 minutes) and the Middle Fork (10 minutes) of the Yuba River. Both rivers offer wonderful swimming holes.
North San Juan is a small town with limited dining options (burgers, pizza, tacos, sandwiches and such). South 1/2 hour on highway 49 is Nevada City and north 1 hour is Downieville. Both these cities offer abundant dining and shopping as well as outdoor activities and gold country heritage. North San Juan does have a cafe, pizza/taco place, small organic market and gas/super stop store.
On the Ridge there is hiking, swimming on the Yuba, boating and fishing at Bullards Bar Reservoir and mining history at Malakoff Diggins State Park with guided tours and hiking/biking trails. Or, just relax and enjoy nature in your semi-private spot on the property.
I also live on the property with my husband Jim, adult son Adam, our dog Layla and our cat Lance. We love to grow organic vegetables and flowers. You are welcome to walk the land and enjoy the gardens and trails. Jim can also share his expertise with vegetable gardening and I can share my knowledge of flower gardening in the foothills if desired. (Just schedule ahead with us for these free activities.)
The Boho features a queen-sized bed, a couch that opens to a single bed, dining area, kitchen area with large sink, gas cooktop, microwave, small fridge, A/C and heat, bathroom with shower, outdoor sitting area with BBQ. Coffee and tea set-up provided. Room for 2 or 3 people. Ample free parking next to the Boho. No TV but Wifi available.
House Rules: No pets at this time. (We want to protect our cat and the wildlife.) No smoking inside. Quiet after 10.

Access is easy and free parking is on site.

Other things to note
Most of the wildlife is gentle and shy, such as deer, wild turkeys, canadian geese, many birds. This is the country though and we do have the occasional bear, coyote and even rattlesnake. Although I have not seen them, there have been sightings on the ridge occasionally of mountain lions as well.
