Nestled among aspens and pines on 5 acres just outside Nederland, this cozy cottage offers mountain views, nearby trails, space to unwind, and easy access to Eldora skiing and the nearby shops and local eats. Perfect for a romantic getaway or nature-filled adventure-- you're destined for a wonderful and relaxing stay anytime of year!

Tucked away on 5 gorgeous, private forested acres, this comfy guest cottage is your ideal mountain escape—just minutes from Nederland, Eldora Mountain, and endless trails and outdoor adventures. If you are looking for a serene place in nature, this is your spot.
Unplug, unwind, and enjoy:
- A private 1BR cottage with a separate entrance and outdoor patio
- Sweeping views and serene surroundings on a forested mountain property
- Hammocks, swings, and benches with vast views, stargazing, and wildlife sightings (deer, elk, turkeys, and the occasional moose!)
- Outdoor propane fire pit for cozy nights under the stars (weather and fire ban permitting)
- Nearby access to incredible skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, biking, fishing, kayaking, and more
- A perfect base for visiting Boulder, Denver, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Red Rocks
Inside your space:
The cottage includes a comfy queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, and a twin cot. The kitchen is stocked with essentials (cooking oils, spices, coffee and tea included), and we use organic bedding and natural bath and cleaning products for your comfort.
Things to do:
Nederland is a nature lover's paradise! The slopes of Eldora are 15 minutes up the road, and we are surrounded by countless trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Boulder Creek is right at the end of our road with incredible fishing and kayaking. Boulder and Denver are a quick trip down the canyon, and Rocky Mountain National Park is just over an hour away. Head down to see a show at Red Rocks 45 minutes away and wake up the next morning in your peaceful mountain getaway. We have many suggestions for places to enjoy in our guestbook.

In addition to your cottage and patio, explore the many inviting spaces on the land—swing in a hammock, relax by the fire pit, picnic in the meadow, or snowshoe in winter.
Other things to note
Our cabin is about 1/2 mile up a county rd that is regularly plowed and maintained. Snow is common from Nov-April or May. You should not need a 4WD to get up to our house in good conditions, but AWD and/or snow tires are helpful and recommended in Colorado winter. We recommend at least having an AWD vehicle for winter travel to our home and also in the surrounding mountain area.
Cell service in our area is spotty, unless you have AT&T. Please load your directions before you come. Once you are here you can use wifi for calling. The wifi here is reliable and strong.
We also live on the property in the main house and are generally here if you need anything during your stay. You may sometimes see us out and about with our son and our dog, but you'll have total privacy in your space. We look forward to hosting you!
