Our 2 BD cabin has all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting complete with cable tv, wi-fi, kitchen, private bathroom, and a living space. Enjoy fishing, swimming, paddle boats/kayaks (available to rent for a small fee), and recreation on site, or explore Savannah and Statesboro or other nearby towns. Our proximity to i-16 makes it convenient to get anywhere you want to be.

The space
Situated halfway between Macon and Savannah with easy access to the interstate, we are the perfect get-away spot. Easily take a day trip to Savannah or Tybee, or visit charming antique shops, museums, the wildlife center in Statesboro and Splash in the Boro. There are several state parks, botantical gardens, and outdoor adventures nearby for those interested in outdoor activities. The cabin is located at Beaver Run RV Park, so you have access to all campground ammenties, but it is set apart from the rest of the campers, so you will also enjoy your privacy.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cabin. Cable and high speed Wi-fi are included. I provide a fresh loaf of homemade bread for guests upon arrival. Guests will have access to recreation including fishing, swimming, paddle boats/kayaks (available for a small fee), corn hole, horseshoes, shuffleboard and more. Games, books, and DVDs are available to check out at the office. Guests will also have a grill and a fire ring to toast marshmallows or just sit at the table and enjoy the campfire.

Other things to note
Monthly guests need to be aware that due to the huge price reduction in the monthly rate over the nightly rate, monthly guests will be responsible to pay for electric. The electric is metered. The cabin is well-built and is in the shade, so it stays fairly cool in the summer. Also, the stove, oven, and hot water all all gas. So most guests do not find their electric bills to be very high. Our current electric rate tends to vary between $.14-$.16/Kwh, but it is dependent on the electric company.

Neighborhood highlights

We are centrally located to a number of activities, but you can still feel away from it all as you sit and enjoy the beautiful woods and lake. We are less than 20 minutes from Georgia Southern University, 45 minutes from Savannah, and 10 minutes from Metter. We are located on the property of Beaver Run RV Park, and guests have access to the amenities of the campground, while being set apart for privacy. There is a Dollar General just four minutes away and a proper grocery store ten minutes away to get your food supplies. There are also a handful of restaurants in Metter and a number of restaurants in Statesboro.
