Quiet, convenient flat in very central location.
Perfect for sightseeing, people wanting good travel links or quick access to all major locations in London.

The Space

This spacious, Victorian apartment lies in a peaceful cul-de-sac right in the centre of town, perfect for sightseers, people on business, and anyone wanting a very central base removed from the city madness.

Many famous sights are within walking distance:
Buckingham Palace is 2 minutes away, where you can see the Changing of the Guard ceremony several mornings a week.
A quick 10 minute walk through the neighbouring royal parks gets you to some of the most famous landmarks in London - the Houses of Parliament/ Big Ben/ Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly.

Take a different direction through the parks and you'll come to Piccadilly, architecturally magnificent, and lined with grand buildings such as The Ritz Hotel, Fortnum & Mason (famous department store & purveyors of tea to the Royal House), the Royal Academy, and Hatchards (oldest bookshop in London & perfect for browsing).

From there, you can continue to:
>Regent Street lined with flagship stores & unique department store Liberty
>walk through Covent Garden's cobbled streets looking at the street performers
>sample authentic chinese food in Soho/Chinatown
>or catch a show in the West End, London's theatre district.

Famous shopping areas such as Oxford Street, Bond Street or Kings Road are 2 stops away from the apartment by bus/ tube.
If you prefer museums, the very beautiful Victoria & Albert Museum is also 3 stops away, and unmissable if you're interested in textiles, arts & crafts or interior design. The National Gallery & Royal Academy are at walkable distance, while The Tate & Natural History Museum are also easily accessible from the flat.

Weary at the end of a day of sightseeing, you can drop into The Goring, 3 minutes away, for its famous Traditional Afternoon Tea...
or, at the opposite end of the scale, start the day with a typical english 'fry-up' (breakfast) at the Regency Cafe, which opens its doors at 7am.

Within the flat's immediate vicinity are several restaurants, eateries, pubs, food supermarket, good coffee shop and pharmacy - all 2 minutes away.

Victoria Station is 5 minutes away on foot, with connections to all major airports by train, tube or bus (Heathrow 1hr/ Gatwick 30mins).
It's also a central station for travel within London, as well as great day-trips to Oxford, Brighton or York.

The flat has 1 bedroom with kingsize bed (photo shows previous bed), 1 bathroom, large sitting room looking out onto the street, and large kitchen.
Wifi & washing machine.

When planning your trip, I recommend checking out Timeout london (internet) which has a wealth of information on events and exhibitions in the city.

  • Tina & her place were definitely nice & warm. Location was more than awesome! Very convenient (5~10 min walk from the palace, 5 min from victoria station). Around the place, there were some 4+point restaurants and pubs recommended by (website hidden) map. Thanks to Tina and her cozy place, I could be relaxed like being at home. My room and bathroom were super-clean. Definitely recommend this place to somebody who will visit London!

  • Tina is a fabulous host! By the time my stay ended, I felt as if I had made a friend for life. She went the extra mile to see that I was comfortable, even taking apart the kitchen tap to stop a drip! As pictured, the flat was charming, the bed comfy, and the location ideal. I can't wait to return to London for another stay and more quality time with Tina!

  • What an absolute delight. Could not have asked for a more genuine and lovely person. The flat was indeed beautiful and the room and bathroom clean and bright. Fresh cotton bedding. We felt spoilt and happy and slept like logs. It's such a fantastic central location too. Oddly although it is bang in the middle of london the road with its huge houses was not overly noisy and the flat was quiet. Could not recommend this more hughly. We would love to go back. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

  • Absolutely loved my stay at Tina's place! It's so centrally located and easy to get around. It's just a few minutes walk from Victoria Station or Buckingham Palace, and a bit longer of a walk to Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. The room is large, and Tina thought of all the comforts! She provided breakfast and tea, as well as maps of the city, activity magazines, and an oyster card for the subway.
I couldn't have stayed at a nicer place! Tina was the perfect host, and I loved our conversations!
    Can't recommend this place enough!!
