  • Great little apartment in a nice, clean safe neighbourhood. Really comfortable living space and excellent cooking facilities. Only downside are the lack of TV (aerial/cable) and fast wired internet.

  • Hannah's apartment is beautifully placed amongst the glory that is the Marina. Short walk to the water and the legendary Golden Gate. The space is comfortable and Hannah was more than accommodating.

  • Hannah was easy to communicate with and made our stay in San Francisco a special one for our anniversary weekend.

Her apartment was clean. The hardwood floors and high ceilings combined with the many windows give the living area a spacious and warm feeling. Mornings were especially pretty watching the sunrise over the city. The kitchen is well equipped for a weekend stay. The bathroom is roomy and the instant hot water is amazing! The bedroom is very small, there's maybe two feet of floor space between the bed and the closet. Our suitcases had to be left in the hallway. The queen size bed is comfortable though.

The location is great- within a few blocks of the water and there are beautiful homes and neighborhoods in all directions.

We had a nice time and I would recommend staying at Hannah's as long as you are aware that there is no TV or microwave, you must walk up 3 flights of stairs to enter the apartment and parking is a challenge.

  • Hannah's apartment and location is superb. Hannah was very helpful and responsive with every query that we asked. Apartment is exactly what it says and what the photo's show, very clean, and everything you need for your stay is there, from cutlery to linen.......and more. Stayed there for a week over the holiday period, therefore fully utilizing the apartment. Fantastic.

Location is also great, good area, quiet, with local supermarket just around the corner. Nearby Chestnut St was great for local shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to Fishermans Wharf, Golden Gate, and for those not keen on walking, local muni bus stop on the corner. Slight concern for us was parking, as we did have a car, but once we got our head round local parking restrictions, quite easy. TIP for drivers, park in Bay St overnight and Marina Car park during day time. Both free, short walk from the apartment, with only restriction being Bay St from 4pm til 6pm, and Marina overnight. Get it right, and it means not having to rush back to move the car.

Overall, we loved our stay at Hannah's, highly recommend both Hannah as our host and her lovely apartment, and will definitely hope to get back sometime soon. Gives that something special to the San Francisco experience. Go on, give her a try, you won't regret it.

  • Hannah's place had all the qualities we desired for our stay in San Francisco. Besides the basics -- neat, clean, all the cooking and eating utensils one needed, and a generous well-stocked fridge and pantry, it was also cozy, comfortable and with a large sunny bay window. Although our bed was in tight quarters, it was just right: not too soft and not too hard -- we slept well all four nights we were there. We appreciated the apartment's 3rd floor location -- great exercise! The shower had lots of hot water flowing from it's big shower head. Plenty of new, seeming linens.
The location was ideal for us. Walking distance to shops, a great Safeway grocery store, lovely parks, the Bay and transportation. The building was also quiet, not a creature seemed stirring, neither day nor night. We would certainly stay there again.

  • Hannah's apartment was the perfect place for us to stay during our long weekend in San Francisco! Easily accessible & located in the perfect spot for visiting the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, & many other impressive sites in the city.

Hannah was kind enough to leave a bottle of champagne & a bottle of wine for us in the fridge & then she checked in via text message the morning after we arrived, just to ensure that we'd made it to the apartment easily & had everything we needed.

This is a beautifully decorated apartment with all the amenities we needed & more. I'd highly recommend renting from Hannah, as she was a pleasure to work with & easy to stay in contact with!

  • Hannahs apartment was exactly as described, charming little one bed with all the amenities we needed.

Lovely neighborhood, walking distance to many great bars and restaurants, would stay here again.

Hannah was very easy to get ahold of whenever we needed her!

  • Hannah’s apartment was perfect for us. Hannah was responsive to our initial inquiries and to our feedback regarding our stay. An outlet in the bedroom didn’t work and she had it fixed. The place is cozy and quiet. We did hear some late-night noise from a neighbor coming home late but chalked it up to being in a multi-unit building, no problem. Didn’t matter that there is no A/C because there’s a great breeze that blows through the apartment when the windows are open.

This was our first time using airbnb and everything went very smoothly. We’ll definitely be doing this again. When we travel, we love to experience local life and we loved staying in an area that’s not hotel city. We were downtown for our last night of a 2-week vacation and what a difference. Much preferred staying at Hannah’s in Marina District.

Hannah’s apartment is in a great location. We felt perfectly safe walking everywhere (we had no car) and there are bus stops right around the corner. We took the bus to the Golden Gate bridge but you can walk there too from her place. We were racing to see the sunrise so we took the bus. There’s a Safeway grocery store a short walk away.

Check out Tacolicious and Betelnut for lunch or dinner. Yum! And GoLo for breakfast! GoLo is a block away. The owner is super nice and friendly. His wife can tell you all you need to know about riding the bus. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but go in! The food is fantastic. Fisherman’s Wharf is a nice walk away and you can walk along the water.

  • The apartment is pretty good, just like in the pictures. So cozy that made us believe it was at home. Quiet and well located near major MUNI lines, as well as being a few blocks from beautiful places like the Palace of Fine Arts, where we were going to do our morning run. The view of the marina and the Golden Gate Bridge make any walk worthwhile. Thank you Hannah for hospitality, we hope to return soon.

  • Hannah's home was a great location to explore San Francisco more like a native rather than a tourist. Very close to local eateries and bus lines. Communication with Hannah was easy. She has a nicely appointed apartment with a great view. My boyfriend & I enjoyed our stay very much!
