It was a beautiful experience! The cottage was cozy and lovely, and Deobrah and Tim were great. I loved being able to hear the animals, walk around the ranch, and have fresh eggs and strawberries for breakfast. The strawberries were amazing as promised.
Deborah was the best! So generous with her time and the farm. Both she and Tim gave me tours of the farm and encouraged me to play with the adorable baby goats, see the baby sheep, and eat as many eggs in their hen house and veggies growing in their fields as I needed. The cottage is super cute and cozy.
This little place is absolutely darling! Clean as a whistle, with a very, very comfy bed and beautiful linens. I loved it and would highly recommend it to everyone! Plus, you get to see all the sheep, goats and cows. While I was there the lambs were a-coming! So cute! A friendly dog and 4 cats to greet you, too! It's bright, cheery, charming and a bit of heaven!
Deborah and Tim were so welcoming and kind. Their ranch is a very special place and I feel fortunate to have visited. Everything about my visit was comfortable, relaxing and special. I collected my own vegetables and eggs from the farm and I got to hold a brand new baby sheep! I hope to go back soon!
Delightfully rustic and eminently comfortable, especially the bed. I spent a serene and easy 3-day writer's weekend here, the highlights of which were cooking with fresh eggs taken warm from the coop and vegetables pulled fresh from the abundant farm (in January, mind you); watching sheep grazing outside the cottage window; driving the exquisite countryside; and most of all simply being able to work and relax in this soothing space created by the ever-pleasant Deborah and Tim. The location of the farm is excellent, by the way: close to Tomales village and more or less equidistant from Dick's Cove, Valley Ford and Petaluma. It's a great base exploring the area.
When I arrived, Tim was there to greet me. I got a quick overview of the property and the cottage, and then I was on my own (which I liked)! I loved how incredibly peaceful it was. Tim gave me a farm fresh egg to try, and it was incredibly delicious! The cottage was the perfect size for my needs and Tim thoughtfully turned the heater on prior to my arrival. It is slightly removed from town, but I love driving the back roads so this wasn't a problem for me. I contemplated trying to coax one of the dogs, Zeta, into my car, haha! She's such a sweetheart! Several times I saw her hanging out right outside my door, even in the evenings. I would totally stay here again.
