My one bedroom apartment has a true San Francisco city feeling! It comfortably fits two and is centrally located on a quiet street, just a few blocks from The Mission. Enjoy a great kitchen, book/record collection, and easy access to BART & MUNI.
(Note, My cat is no longer around). A Railhouse style apartment building in one of the best neighborhoods in SF. Minutes walk from a multitude of Shops, Bars, Cafes and Public Transportation. A 2 block from the constantly active Mission District. There is not parking or laundry included in the unit. However street parking is generally fairly easy to get, as well there are 2 laundromats within a block of the unit.
There is a 32" Flat Screen TV. A great well lit workspace for writing. The queen sized bed in the main bedroom can accommodate 2 people comfortably and the layout couch in the living room can hold two people as well. There is also a queen sized blow up mattress just in case (located under the bed).
The entire apartment.
Interaction with Guests
Just enough to make sure everything is working out for them
So many great places to shop, eat and drink within just a few blocks as well as a great view of Sutro Tower
Yes Bart as well as Muni. No public parking available. By BART it takes about 45 minutes to get to my apartment from SFO, with a 6 block walk from the BART stop.
No loud noises after 10pm.
Please lock both front and apartment doors when leaving the building.
Please put keys back in lockbox when leaving.
Please take trash and recycling out when you leave.
Please close the front window and close the blinds, BUT please leave OPEN the kitchen and bedroom windows to help air the place out.
When leaving please leave comforter covers on comforters, leave sheets and pillow cases on the bed and towels you can lay in the corner of the bathroom.
Steve's place was great! The home had a very San Franciscan atmosphere which my visiting family liked very much. We all wished the cat was there... I loved the high ceilings, cozy bed, and the details of a real home. Im definitely coming back here. Your neighbor, was a very nice and friendly man. Great place Steve!
I stayed a week at this flat and would definitely recommend it. It's the perfect size for a couple in a quiet block on a pretty street, just two blocks from Valencia which is packed full of bars and restaurants. Two blocks from the bart which is less than $2 to get to Union Sq. I looked at lots of other places that looked more swanky and were more expensive but we lucked out here. It was the perfect resting place for our exploration of San Francisco.
Steve left us really clear instructions on how to find the keys and was quick to answer emails once we moved in - the bathroom light for example didn't work but Steve was quick to suggest someone came to fix it. We didn't bother in the end. Nice big fridge, cooker. Felt like a home. Thanks Steve, loved this place.
Spent 2 nice weeks in Steve's apartment.
The place was as described, in a quiet neighborhood close to the Mission and Noe Valley.
Would definitely go back !
I had an amazing stay in Steve's apartment:
- perfect location
- great furnishing
- spacious apartment
- sofa bed in the living room is really comfy
Really appreciated the little food Steve left for our attention + the good advice on how to best enjoy the Mission. Steve had a good organization for check-in / house manual and he was also very quick to answer our questions.
Would come again and recommend to anyone!
This was my first Airbnb experience and everything was perfect! Steve's place is within 10 minutes walk from a lot of good bars, restaulants and coffee shops in the Mission area, yet in the nice and quiet neighborhood. If you go to the different neighborhoods in San Francisco you can easily get there with BART and Muni Buses. Decor of the apartment was great too, from which you can feel the vibe of music and art. Steve himself was very easy to contact and responsive to any questions.
Steve's place was perfect for our ten day visit. It's small and cosy with most necessities. We only missed a microwave, which of course we already knew was not going to be there. Steve himself was easy to contact and answered any questions quickly. The book he had layed out was very helpful and it also included some tourist information. The map of bus routes got used a lot! If I go back to SF I might pick a different neighbourhood since we ended up not spending much time in The Mission. But if you go you've got to have bruch at Boogaloos! 3 Overall a great first Airbnb experience!
I spent about 10 years working too much for other people's companies and dreams. Now I am working on my own ideas and dreams.
That said I tend to be traveling around a bit more than usual.
