The Space

Our estate home is perfectly located with easy access to all major highways. We offer free wifi, phone, and Directv. Join us for the manager's reception between 6-7pm, at our 11 ft wet bar, and free continental breakfast in the morning. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or a game of air hockey in the "man cave". All towels and linens provided, and owners are on site to assist in any of your needs.

Since we run a small catering company, a drink and food menu will be provided if you choose to dine in, instead of out.

The room pictured has a queen size bed and 42in flat panel tv. We do have two other rooms available for rent at an additional fee. One room has another queen bed, and the third has a full size bed.

There is plenty of parking, as the driveway can hold up to eight vehicles.

  • I stayed at Cori and Joe's place for one night when travelling the US and it has been my best airbnb stay so far! I spent hours chatting with Cori who is the best hostess ever! Their place is divine -clean, spacious, luxurious! I enjoyed use of the hot tub and looking around the grounds with Miss Greta B, the most amazing companion! Thank you both for a truly superb stay, I cannot recommend you highly enough!

  • What a great stay! We loved the room, which was immaculate as advertised and very quiet. The location was perfect for us. Cori and Joe were fantastic hosts, and we were completely charmed by Greta. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Louisville.

  • We had a great stay with Cori, Joe and Greta. This was my husband's first time in a BnB and he has always been skeptical of staying with people he doesn't know. He has done a total turn around after our three nights recently with Cori & Joe, and is looking forward to our next stay.

The house is immaculate, the furnishings are very comfortable, the bathrooms are always spotless no matter what time of day it is, the food is to die for, and the hospitality is unparalleled.

We feel like we have made friends with a new couple we look forward to seeing again. Cori couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. And the value of what you get for what you pay is unsurpassed.

We stayed with Cori & Joe while attending a trade show in which all the local hotels and motels seemed to revel in price gouging and charging double the normal rate as a sarcastic welcome the more then 70,000 people who attend annually. I'm glad we found a very viable and economical alternative. They are the more accurate representation of this historic city - hospitality, charm, and genuine warm welcome.

    Thanks Cori & Joe.

  • We arrived to the warm greetings of our host (and Greta) complete with a wonderful chicken salad and cold beer. It was a most welcome snack especially after a long day of driving from Charlottesville, Virginia. Due to unforeseen problems and a late departure, it was 1:30 AM when we arrived at Cori's place. Regarding our late arrival, she was so accommodating and reassuring, insisting that we take our time and drive safely instead of worrying about inconveniencing her.
Their home is beautifully decorated and features a fantastic collection of original artwork. Our bedroom was large and very comfortable. In the morning we were greeted by Cori and her husband, Joe. We enjoyed great conversation as we ate homemade baked goods, granola, and fruit. Cori made every effort to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend this place!

  • This was my first time using airbnb and I couldn't have had a better first experience! I was traveling during Spring Break and needed a place to stay and found Cori's place, it was very clean, spacious, and not to mention Cori is an amazing chef and prepared some appetizers and woke up early to make us breakfast! They had an adorable dog named Greta who was a service dog who lived in the house. The house was about a 25 minute drive from downtown and if I go back to Louisville I am definitely going to book with them again!

Cori and Joe are such vibrant, warm, and welcoming people, and I really enjoyed talking with them during my visit. I felt like I was staying with close friends. I would definitely stay here again.

Hi, I'm Cori Barimo, and welcome to our profile. My husband, Dr. Joe Barimo, and I moved to Louisville in August 2010 from Palm Beach Gardens, FL. When Joe & I are traveling, we rent out our entire home to groups looking for a great place to stay while in the area. When we are home, Joe & I open our place to travelers through Airbnb. I love to cook and bake, and have a small catering business. Joe is a Director at Spalding University and is building a new Doctorate of Education in Executive Leadership. We have our pup, Greta who is a service dog and works primarily in the nursing homes with demensia and behavioral therapy residents. Joe & I love hosting and meeting wonderful people through this site!
