  • We stayed in Rome for four days in early December. Francesco's B&B was perfect. The location was ideal, very comfortable, beautiful room. Francesco was the most gracious host, and he went out of his way to be helpful, efficient and organized. In addition to finding a great place to lodge in Rome, we feel we have also found a new friend.

    Ciao.

  • Francesco runs an excellent B&B. Not only is is in a fantastic location, but there are lots of little details added to make your stay even better, such as the fridge with free, help yourself drinks; tourist guides and maps; a great breakfast; and daily cleaning. The room was lovely and light with a balcony overlooking a Trastevere street. Very highly recommended!

  • We've had the most wonderful time here and COULD NOT have asked for a better host. Francesco was simply amazing. Came every morning bringing us fresh pastries, coffee, tea, ect. Answered ?s, calling airport to help find my lost luggage, arrange travel. The breakfast and fully stocked fridge really helped us save money. The 3 bedroom apartment with a balcony was always spotless. Highly recommend to anyone, not to mention the neighborhood is full of friendly hip locals. This is for sure Francesco's calling because he is wonderful at what he does!

  • I stayed at Francesco's B&B with my boyfriend for three nights and we couldn't have had a better stay. Francesco was an excellent host providing us with a wealth of information on Rome's attractions. The room was sunny, smartly appointed, and immaculate. Also, Trastevere is the ideal base to explore Rome. It's within walking distance of the Vatican and the Rome city center, and has a bustling nightlife most days of the week. In fact, the greatest difficulty we encountered during our stay was deciding on where to eat and drink.

  • Francesco was an amazing host right from the start. He came to meet us at the tram stop, as we were a little lost even after his fantastic directions given prior to our arrival.
He made sure to spend some time with us once at the apartment, showing us around and giving us tips and directions for our stay.
The apartment was fantastic! We couldn't have asked for more. It was clean, well decorated and had everything we could possibly need (including a full kitchen stocked full).
Francesco put together a beautiful spread of food every morning for our breakfast. A great host.
The apartment is in a great location and has many restaruants with in walking distance. It is also very accesable to all Rome has to offer.

We both enjoyed our stay so much, there's no question of where we'd stay if in Rome again.

  • Francesco and his girlfriend were fantastic. Everything went flawlessly from beginning to end. The room was exactly as pictured and the whole place was very clean. My boyfriend proposed to me at the start of our trip in tuscany during our stay at Il Canto del Sole (which I also highly recommend) and they were thoughtful enough to give us a little engagement gift at the end of our stay in Roma. Thank you both!

  • My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Francesco's B&B. We had an excellent experience all around. Francesco was very responsive when we made the reservations. Once we arrived, Francesco was helpful, charming, and friendly. For instance, he lent us a map, made a dinner reservation for us, and adviced us on what to visit. The room exceeded our expectations--we were very comfortable, loved the balcony, and found the Trastevere to be a very convenient home-base from which to visit the sites of Rome. Francesco made us breakfast (highlights included delish espresso and fresh pastries) and graciously accomodated our schedule--which included an early breakfast on Easter morning. I highly recommend this B&B and Francesco.
