Public transportation – Our home is one block away from the bus stop. Check out the Anchorage People Mover website (website hidden)
Unfortunately, the city doesn't have their public transit linked with (website hidden) maps (as of 3/28/2014, but promised to be coming soon!) so you'll have to plot your course the old fashioned way.

Cab rides from the airport are about $15. Alaska Yellow Cab has the most attractive cabs in town - and a very easy phone number to remember (phone number hidden)! Check out their website (website hidden) for fare and scheduling information.

Train - The Anchorage downtown train station is only 3.5 miles from the house - less than 12-minute ride away. Visit the Alaska Railroad’s website at (website hidden)

Shuttles and other - check out the website (website hidden) for excellent information on how to get around to the neighboring Anchorage areas.
