This is a fabulous stone home, minutes from the center of Middleburg. This home sleeps four people comfortably but we would consider a couple more people, especially children who may be able to sleep on a blow up mattress (fees apply). Gourmet Viking kitchen. We also can accomodate boating trips for up to seven people-two person canoe, one and two person kyaks -drop off and pick up options for three hours floats on local river. Also, fishing on Lake Frederick.

The space

The architectural aspects of this home are remarkable. This is a perfect get away for a quiet weekend in hunt country. If you need more space, be sure to look at the house with the additional suite option "on land" in description. This means you will have an additional two story living area, master bath, king bed and sitting room with kitchenette. With the extra space you can easily add a blow up mattress and accomodate 8 guests.

The photos do not do this home justice. It is a gorgeous house with updated bathrooms, a Viking kitchen and gardens overlooking rolling hills just picture perfect for entertaining. The rooms are well-appointed with historical items that would take weeks to appreciate. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The hosts provided a short description of the property and set us up with breakfast items, wine and chocolate. Though there were no issues, they were very responsive to our questions during our stay yet maintained complete privacy and run of the house. The convenience of this amazing property to Middleburg and surrounding areas is unmatched and will be the preferred destination for our annual reunion girls' weekend!!! Thank you Carole and Scott!

Carole did a great job with our stay. Everything was as expected, and Carole was available for any questions we had. The location of the house is perfect for a weekend exploring the Middleburg area and wine tasting, and the house itself provides a great getaway with the fireplace, comfortable beds, and lots of open space in the fields around it for our dog to run around!

Carole was great and very flexible in accommodating us. The house was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I really wish we had more time to enjoy it! It's a 2 minute drive (don't attempt to walk) to Middleburg, has as gorgeous outdoor area, two queen bedrooms, two full baths, all gorgeously decorated in a very unique chic-industrial fashion (think like the All Saints brand). A horse farm next door as an added bonus. Highly recommend this place if you want to explore historic towns and vineyards in the area. Stone Tower Winery was one my favorite.

Welcome to Air BNB. If you are new or a seasoned user, I can't wait to help meet your needs with a short term rental. I have lived in Virginia for most of my life. I grew up in Great Falls and Unison, Virginia. Surrounded my many animals to include horses, I understand what people are looking for when they come to this part of Virginia. I can offer suggestions on where to visit, boat, fish, hike, shop and eat. I can make your hat or tailgate picnic for the steeplechase races for you and your guests. I have many great dishes I can offer for your special event. If you simply are coming to get away from the city and have a quiet weekend, I know one of my many properties in this region can accommodate your needs, even a special event like a family reunion or wedding. I have studio apartments, plantations, chic homes, cottages, river views, all here on Air BNB and I am happy to help you navigate your ideal stay. I even have a network of friends who do Air BNB and perhaps they have a better fit, that is fine, we can help. My prices are fair but driven by the market. My motto is "whatever, whenever"-sound familiar? I borrowed it from my fav hotel, Westin "W". Looking forward to meeting you and working with you.
