We spent some days in the apartment. The pool was very nice and the surroundings too. The apartment was very nice and clean but poorly with cookware. No cups for tea or coffee for example. We love the family who owns the place. They were realy nice. We had a wonderful stay at the vineyard. We can highly recommend the place.
There's is much to like here: it's a lovely setting among olive groves, with a great pool, in the gorgeous Umbrian countryside, and the management is very nice, warm people. Overall, it's good. But we have to mention a few things. The apartment is 2 bedrooms, not 3, sleeping 4 adults, not 8; and though air-conditioning is listed, there's none (not even a fan). Also, this is just one of 4 apartments, but that's not mentioned anywhere in the description. We are Airbnb hosts, and maybe we are too fussy, but we always provide staples for guests (bread, eggs, fruit, cheese, milk, etc.); this apartment, on the other hand, had none of these -- and no dishsoap, no soap, no paper towels, no oil or vinegar, no condiments or pepper, no sugar, nothing. They gave us a great bottle of wine, but we would have preferred the basics! I must say that on our arrival at 10 pm, exhausted, they took pity on us, and at our request brought us some cheese, salami, bread, pasta, and canned pomidoro. That was great, but on our first day we told management that only 1 burner worked on the stove -- yet that didn't get fixed while we were there. Since it is 8 kilometers to the nearest restaurant, this was important: we pretty much had to eat out every night. The description does say that it's a farmhouse, but they should perhaps acknowledge that a rooster is at work, and starts off well before dawn cracks. So we feel that the place is good, the setting great, and the communication left something to be desired.
