A nice and large ground floor appartment in city centre of Novi Sad. All modern amenities including TV and wi-fi. Kitchen and bathroom with open style living room. One of the luxuries you will find in our apartment is spaciousness. Our open style living room will not leave you feeling cramped.
Please note that during the check-in we will show you the sign 'STRICTLY NO SMOKING'.
Close to the main Boulevard (Bulevar Oslobodjenja/Boulevard of Liberation) and Futoshka pijaca (Futoska market) and 10 to 15 mins walk to main square (Cathedral). There are numerous restaurants and cafes in Bulevar Oslobodjenja and supermarkets/bakeris in parallel street and in fact the same street of ours.
The above price is based on 2 people off-season (meaning outside Exit Festival and other events). Additional guest will incurr £7 per head extra charge per night. Minimum stay 2 nights. For one night only there is an extra charge. Deposit payable for keys.
Languages spoken by the hosts; Serbo-Croat, Hungarian and a bit of English. If you speak or want to practice Serbo-Croat (or should I say Yugoslavian as now this language is falsely re-invented as Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and Montenegrin) and Hungarian we can gladly oblige.
Although I speak English as my first language I need to be honest and say that the person who will usually meet you does not speak much English (it is not always the same person depending on the time of week and day). Sometimes my English speaking relative will be there to help (and we are working on educating more hosts) but this is not always the case. So please if you want to stay with us find out everything about the appartment and everything else in advance as you will be given/told the information in English on arrival but the host on site will not be able to converse with you in great depth or answer your questions in detail).
I find this a good thing as your will have your privacy when staying here. We think that enjoyment should be on DIY basis (get on with it and do it yourself). If you are eager to meet locals I am sure you will find them easily everywhere in Novi Sad as they are very welcoming and curious.
Many thanks for reading and welcome to stay!
Everything was great. The flat was very comfortable and warm. It is very close to the main boulevard, so it was easy to get around. A nearby Cream cafe was great.
Home is good.
Peter dont understand to us on Airbnb and his family said "Get out from home". We explaned again and stayed same day. Peter said sorry. But I remember.
So bad experience...
Berkay, sorry if we have upset you. We hope that next time, to avoid disappointment you will be more respectful of your hosts and adhere to the house rules. It is clearly stated that our flat (email hidden) but you and your friends have ignored this even after we verbally told you (your friend who is a local resident of a Novi Sad suburb must have understood it - if you didn't). Best wishes, Petar
Petar has a very nice apartment in a good place and very welcoming family which is hosting the place. Very good for 4 persons or even more. We could sleep even longer after we suppose to check out. That is important after a good Friday party in the center of the town.
The appartment is very beautiful and clean. you got a lot of space there very good beds and all you need! The appartment is in a quiet district with something about 15 minutes to walk to the centre. Petars parents, who are actually the hosts, are very kind. The only negative point is, that the communication is kind of difficult. we had some missunderstandings about the additional price for one more guest, that we could not really solve.
But all in all it is a very nice place t stay!
