Adel's room is located in a central area, you can easily reach every place to visit walking or by boat. Few minutes walking from the train station, 2 minutes from san Marcuola boat station. Next to the Jewish Ghetto made famous by Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice, the Venice Ghetto is now a pleasant neighborhood where Venice's small Jewish community still lives. It also the home of a Jewish museum, the Museo Communità Ebraica. On the back side of the house there’s an area of the city called Misericordia, where mainly Venetian people live, out of the mass touristic paths: characteristic and romantic. Adel's house has got an independent entrance from a corte, a living with a kitchen area with wooden-beam ceiling three bedrooms, a shared bathroom with a shower. It’s a cozy and simple house where you can feel at home.
Facilities: internet Wi fi, washing machine, hairdryer.
Enter Adel's house and you feel back to old time.
A wonderful little place tucked away in the less touristy part of Venice. 5-10 min walk from the bus and train station so very convenient especially on your departure. Venice is so small and crowded in the tourist areas that it was refreshing to be just a tad removed. It made for a more comfortable and home feel to the city. Adel's wife Theresa was extremely friendly and helpful. She met us at the front gate and got us aquainted with the space and the city immediately. Adel made sure we made our way to the city as well and was also very accomodating. There was only one other person staying there at the time so the bathroom schedule was no problem. Great restaurant one street up as well. I would definately recommend Adel and Theresa!
Very nice B&B in a perfect location: close to main sights (both by foot or by boat), but in a very quiet and cosy street. Only 10 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes to 2 boat stops, and around 20-30 minutes to San Marco (if you don't get lost..:) ) And even though outside was 35 degrees, the room was cool at night. The house is cosy and the host ( we only met with Theresa) was lovely! She gave us some ideas what to see as well as tips how to go around the Venice. And of course, every morning we had great coffee waiting for us! Definitely recommend!
The apartment is very clean nd b'ful..nicely maintained...Adel and his wife are very friendly..even priovided us with extra duvets...loved our stay...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Adel and Teresa's house! Their hospitality far surpassed our expectations. Teresa guided us calmly through small nuances of the city important for anyone to know, shared with us really nice picture books of Venice that helped us decide what all to see and made us really awesome filter coffee!! Breakfast arrangement were excellent and the room and the bathroom were nicely done (and the wifi worked well too)! The location of the place really lets one get a feel of Venice with all the nice (non-touristy) food and liveliness around.
A warm welcome in the beautiful city of Venice. Though we couldn't meet Adel, Teresa was a nice lady. She was very joyful and very informative. It was great staying in their house. Really enjoyed our time in Venice
The location of this b&b was perfect, right in the heart of Venice. The bed was comfortable, and we had lots of privacy. I highly recommend this place!
This was a great experience! This B&B is perfect! The location is thes best, very near train station and you can get the most important place on foot very quickly. The room is very big, confortable and nice! You also get a good breakfast to start your visit in Venecia. We knewTeresa, Adel's wife, she was a very nice person! We recomended absolutely to stay there.
Adel's location is actually perfect.... just far enough away from the chaos of the main touristic area, but easy to get to those places if you want to. The room was clean and comfortable. Since this is listed as a B&B, the breakfast could be a little better. Perhaps real croissants from a local bakery instead of packaged food (which wasn't so great). But fruit (bananas), sliced bread, butter, jam, and coffee were also provided, so it's not all that bad. There's a city tax (3 euro a day) which is paid in cash, separate, so have some coins handy. Plenty of towels in the trunk in the main foyer. Overall, a decent value for an area that can be pricey. Adel herself was very friendly.
I had been in Venice 2 nights and it had been great. Adels B&B had been very clean und the place is very lovely. The hosts are very nice and helped a lot.
The rooms are big and furnished. The breakfast include Coffee, Bread, Marmelade und Cornflakes. There is also juice and water. The B&B is a bit costly but it's not much more expensive than the hostels in Mestre. And i would advice everyone to experience Venice aside the touristic attractions. The district Cannaregio is very nice with many small bridges and lovely buildings. It was a wonderful atmosphere to walk around in Venice at night. Because of this atmosphere, the nice house and the I would love to come back to Adels B&B. Also Venice is very (website hidden) is much cheaper ;) Enjoy Venice at night! It's beautiful and silent.
Thanks for the great time!
