Sophia's apartment was perfect! We loved our stay in Notting Hill...we really didn't want to leave! The flat felt like our home away from home for the two nights we were there. It was clean and pretty, and within walking distance of some great areas of London. I would highly recommend staying at Sophia's place, and would definitely use the apartment again! Thank you Sophia!
A cozy place with to double beds in one room located in a very nice part of London! We stayed here for three nights in february at a low cost, but if you have to pay full prize, make sure, that the bedlights/reading lamps are working, and that the oven can be switched on. Neither of these things were working while we were there.
We had a great stay at Sophie's place. The apartment is beautifully decorated, a decent size and in a great location. Notting Hill is a great area, with a ton of great bars/restaurants.
The apartment is up quite alot of stairs, but if like us that's not a problem for you, then i heartily recommend Sophie's place.
We had a lovely stay at Sophie's place. There are quite a few stairs to get into the apartment, but it wasn't a problem for us as we are New yorkers and used to walk ups. The apartment is in a great location and was perfect for our needs.
Nice, comfortable and fully equipped flat. Good and quiet location, shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk. Excellent connection (busses, tube) to other parts of London. Friendly and helpful host.
Clean and specious. We had a very good time. Location was not ideal but was good enough.
The studio was perfect for our trip and Sophie made us feel at home. Perfect stay for two good friends or a couple. I can honestly recommand it. It´s quiet although pubs, cafès, etc. are around. Well locatedt... thanks a lot !
Good location, quite close to Westbourne Grove and for that reason it is good value. It is not very clean, just a look in a corner or behind a bed and there's about an inch of dirt/dust and other peoples products are left in the bathroom. The apartment is also completely choc-a-bloc with the owner possessions, there is not a cupboard/shelf/surface that is clear enough to put anything on.
However it has a nice feeling and the owner was very helpful. It's at the top of the building and would be very hot in summer, but an inexpensive place to stay if you know you won't be in the apartment much. I wouldn't stay there again, only because I'd prefer to pay more and have a cleaner place and some space to hang clothes.
We had a great weekend staying in Sophie's apartment. It's in a great location, and we enjoyed trying many of the local bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean, although slightly smaller than we had thought, although as we were four close friends, it wasn't too much of a problem. The only downside, which is crazy given that it is December, was that the apartment was roasting! Even sleeping with the windows wide open and the heating off, all of us were very, very warm. Apart from this, everything was great, and Sophie was a very friendly host. Although we didn't meet her in person, she was very quick at responding to texts. Would highly recommend Sophie's place for a fun weekend in a great area of London!
Me and a friend stayed at Sophie's apartment. When we arrived for the noon check in the flat was not ready due to the people before not checking out on time. However this was not really a issue for us as we wanted to just drop our bags off. (however for others it might have been) Yes there is a lot of stairs and it is tricky to carry large luggage up however Sophie's lovely cleaning lady helped us up.
The apartment is small (it's a studio and pretty typical of what your would get in London) and could sleep 4 however you would have to know each other really well, it is a studio it is only one room so not much privacy. There would not be much space if you had large bags there would be no where to store your belongings as the cupboards have the owners things in. However again this was not much of a issue really as we were exploring London and only spent the evening's in the flat.
Upon coming to leave my friend realised a few books she left when we had dropped the bags off had been misplaced while the flat was being cleaned. I got in contact with Sophie and after a wait she replied and offered to replace them by post. As my friend was returning to Australia there wasn't much point in getting them replaced although the offer was there.
It is in a great location and easy to get to.
