Unwind in this spacious, secluded and centrally located mountain retreat near state parks, national forests, casinos, skiing, Denver, and Boulder. Enjoy quick access to unlimited hiking and biking trails! Guests love the huge chef's kitchen and full game room complete with shuffleboard. With 4 spacious bedrooms, and several large common areas to gather, it’s perfect for families or friend groups looking to relax, play, and explore among the scenic views of Colorado’s famous mountains.
The space
This 3200sq ft mountain getaway is a retreat carefully designed to have everything for groups and families to enjoy! This is a secluded home in a small rural neighborhood of Black Hawk, CO. There are a few other homes that are nearby but on 1.7 acres you will be able to enjoy the surrounding views with peace and tranquility.
The home itself has been renovated and is designed to have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house itself is designed with an big open floor plan and lots of space for you and your whole group to hang out together without feeling cramped. With 3 stories and a large patio and yard, there is plenty of room for families or groups to spread out.
PLEASE NOTE: 4WD or AWD vehicle is necessary to access the property safely during Winter and early spring months, you must have an 4WD or AWD vehicle for our neighborhood snowpacked roads.
Main Floor:
The main floor consists of a spacious kitchen, open living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom.
Kitchen: Perfect for those that love to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare wonderful meals! All new appliances including a double oven, induction stove, large refrigerator and freezer, and microwave. Blender, toaster, waffle maker, ample pots, pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, and cooking utensils are all fully stocked as well. Cooking spices and basic cooking oils are also fully stocked! And of course having a cup of coffee out on the deck while enjoying mountain views is the best way to start the day - a coffee machine big enough to make a pot to share and a french press are there, with coffee stocked and ready to go!
Living Room: Large comfortable couch and oversized arm chair allow for plenty of room for your whole family or group to gather around the woodburning fireplace and TV. TV has full streaming service capabilities. The door out to the back deck allows you to enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
Dining areas: The dining room has a large table, with both a bench and chairs that allow your whole group to gather for meals together! We have a high chair ready for you by request, and 2 special "big kid" chairs that allow your kids to sit at at the table at the right height without needing any booster seats. Don't forget to look in the dining room closet for everything you need for an after-dinner game night! Extra seating and dining space is also available with stools around the large kitchen island.

2nd Floor: The second floor is the Primary Bedroom Suite, and is a retreat in and of itself within the house! A king bed with built-in reading lights and USB charging ports on the nightstand, and luxurious pillows and bedding await. A large wall of windows provides beautiful light and mountain views from your bed. An oversized reading chair makes a perfect relaxing nook next to the woodburning stove. And a small desk and in-home work space allows you to have an area for working remotely if you want to extend your day and work from the comforts of the mountains. A TV with streaming capability sits on the dresser.
Basement: The basement provides an entire second living area, perfect for if you are staying with multiple families or just want to spread out! A full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living area with walk-out patio provide a whole second living space.
Basement Living room: A game room of endless fun! Original Carems board and Knock Hockey games are set up for some competitive fun, and an Arcade Video Game with many classic games are ready, we can't wait for you to add to our high score leaderboards! A couch and table with barstools provide an additional area to enjoy board games, puzzles, or a place to gather. Walk out the back door to the large backyard!

On rare occasion wifi networks can unexpectedly be unavailable in this rural mountain location due to factors beyond our control. This is uncommon, but can happen.
All the bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for you to use while you are here.

Please rinse your dishes and place them in the dishwasher prior to your departure.
Please make sure all doors and windows are locked before you leave the unit.
